Rant: had to drive all over creation on Easter to go to church in Florence, up in Indiana to see DHs fam, then back to KY to see my fam. Lots of Easter baskets, lots of food. Lots of family.
My rant is that I thought the toddler's cold was getting better but he sounds terrible again. The baby has it too and sounds pathetic coughing and snorting. My AW is that Felix is two months today! We're going to the doc this afternoon, and I'm looking forward to seeing how much he's grown. He feels hefty.
I let C have a little chocolate too! He was more interested in eating the foil. And I couldn't get him to even look in his basket once he saw the mower.
We ended up going out for lunch. Then ordered Chinese for dinner. It's hard for me to get into the cooking spirit and make a nice meal for a holiday when it's just DH and I.
On the plus, I ordered pancakes for DS when we went out, and he liked them. I'd say he had less than a whole pancake though, since a lot of it ended up on the floor. Also, he finally figured out drinking from a straw (a kids cup at the restaurant). I have a feeling he won't be able to replicate it with the straw sippy.

I thought you were hosting someone or I would have had you down to my house for an egg hunt!
C was like the baby claw- he wanted me to hold him and the he reached for an egg and picked it up. He wouldn't push his walker to them. He kept trying to put the walker back on the driveway.

We had thought of hosting our across the hall neighbors, but they ended up going to their family Easter, and our upstairs neighbors had their baby on Friday, and they weren't released from the hospital until yesterday afternoon, so it was just us.

sstwinklinglites yes! The pout face is her new thing! And thanks! I'm excited to see what the actual professional, finished pictures look like. If she did a good job, we'll probably hire her to do DD's 1 year/cake smash pics.
I wonder how JoBub's trip went. Hope they were able to fly instead of drive.
Thanks for thinking of me! The pilot strike didn't happen so we were able to fly. It was a long day Thursday. I worked all day, and we left as soon as I got home. Arrived at the house in FL a little before 1am. But since the flight was after bedtime, LO did great! He fell asleep just after takeoff and even with getting him in/out of the Ergo and carseat, he didn't wake up until morning. We've been doing a lot of driving since we're staying about an hour outside of Tampa, so it's working out well since he can just nap in the car. On our way to the beach now!
narbuckle01 - So cute! How are you and little lady doing thrush - wise?
We're doing ok. It is still there, and traveled to the back of her neck a bit too. I never had any symptoms, still don't. We're almost out of our rx's so I might need to call the pedi and get more. Yesterday she had a random 100 degree fever for a couple hours. Don't think that was related and Tylenol made it go away... I'm attributing it to teething at this point.
