I just remembered: if you're using the hotel's pack n play bring an Aden and anais blanket to use as a sheet. It fits perfectly and is easy to squeeze in a suitcase.
This is what we have for our PnP at home, and it's what I'm going to take on our cruise, even though they say they use their own sheets. They use the regular bedsheets and then fold them and tuck them under the PnP--no thanks! These sheets are super soft and folder up really small, too. (Though the A&A is also a good idea!)

I'm actually starting to consider if we can bring our own portable crib (no PNP). Logistically I don't even know if it will work in the car, but we are staying over one night in SC, then 7 days on Disney property and then moving to our timeshare outside of disney for another 3 days, then an overnight in VA on the way back. I almost feel like if we're going to be in that many different places - for that amount of time.. it might make more sense to use our own than trying to rent and then having to figure out what to do the other times. I'm also scared after Surfmama's post about her away from home PNP sleeping problem.

Is she already sleeping in that? If so, Id def do it. Or get her used to it now before you go.
We never go on vacation without our bubbas! They are awesome for keeping your drinks cold for hours and they also hold a ton of liquid. Also good for hot drinks.
I can never see the pictures you post on proboards. It's makes me sad!

She will nap in it a Gparent's house and she used to STTN in it before we transitioned her to her crib in her room.. I'm thinking this is the new plan!

We are prepping for a yard sale too! We have to have one before we move because we have too much shit! We made a huge list of everything we want to sell and marked the prices we'd like to put them up for sale for. We just have to dig it all when the time comes. Dreading that!
I have an uppababy umbrella stroller, it was expensive, but worth it. It's light and fully reclines and if you buy their travel bag they guarantee no damage to the stroller on flights.
We never take our big stroller anywhere since we got it for DD1.
We are going to san diego for a week at the beginning of June, I am getting really overwhelmed thinking of all the crap we will have to pack.

I just bought a G-Lux Friday, and with coupons (and I think it was either on sale/or priced incorrectly) it was only $130. Score!! We used it all weekend and it was awesome. One of my best baby buys.
We are considering going to punta Cana in July so I've been following the thread. I just ordered a pop up baby beach tent on Amazon, I hope I like it.
Have you been before?! I went twice and LOVED IT!!! If your looking for recommendations, we stayed at The Hard Rock.. it was beautiful and very family friendly!

In case anyone was unsure of sunscreen, Zoey had her derm appt yesterday for her back (looking good) and I asked about sunscreens. The dr gave me this list of recommendations, just thought I'd pass it along!

I always check stuff against the Environment Working Group site too. It will give you hazard ratings on just about everything. And they are third party which is nice.

Thanks for the tip! Just checked the one I ordered from Amazon (Thinkbaby) and I'm happy with the results.

What is the beach tent called? We have the kidco peapod. We've only used it in our backyard once. It was pretty funny to watch Spencer try to crawl his way out of the closed tent.
Just got this: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0009PUTIE/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1430081292&sr=8-1&keywords=coleman+beach+shade+tent&pi=AC_SY200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=41eOxdVbaFL&ref=plSrch Coleman Beach Shade (can't hyperlink from phone)... Put it up in the living room in a few minutes and it was a very nice size. I could lay in there with LO to nurse or just help get to sleep and you can zip it completely closed for changing/nursing if needed. The back zips open so you could get a cross breeze if it's stuffy. There are 3 tent poles that keep it up and stakes or bags (for sand) to help keep it weighed down. Can't imagine it would be fun on a windy day, but I don't go to the beach on windy days anyway.
