Since the photo challenge on GKU is something you made I'll get this started - hopefully lots of pictures today!
So what have you been working on? What have you finished? Please share pictures!
GKTU - do you change project types with the weather? It's starting to warm up here and I didn't know if other people switch from knitting heavy blankets to small socks to stay cooler.
This week I finished my instant gratification (bulky yarn) blanket and started getting my yarn together for prayer shawl 2.0. I am going to do the trinity stitch but I'm having problems figuring out how long I should chain to start. Guess I'll be going with trial and error.
Here's the blanket:
GTKY - we keep our house warmer in the summer so I really want to learn how to knit socks since it won't be bulky on my lap.

I'm working on a rainbow crochet blanket for my sisters birthday. I haven't taken a picture recently but since it's just granny squares it's going very fast.
I also made a new door wreath just in time for baseball season. DH and I are huge baseball fans!
GTKY: I craft a lot less in the summer. I like to be outside so occasionally I'll get ambitious and haul my scrapbook stuff out to the patio to do some scrapping in the sun but for the most part I slack on crafts in the summer.
This past week was pretty busy so not much progress on anything. I finished my mom's hot pad and started a second, and I picked up some yarn that will hopefully finally be what I am wanting for her dish cloths. I finished a few more toy baggies but still have a lot more to do yet.
Some projects lend themselves better to certain seasons but more so certain stages of projects. Painting or staining large pieces or large quantities of pieces is easiest to do outside, so temperature and humidity dictate that scheduling, but other work on those types of projects (cutting, sanding, assembly, etc) is flexible. We typically have certain types of remodeling projects or vehicle projects we do in either winter or summer as is fitting for the project (winter is good for indoor projects as there is often more time available due to less other stuff going on and good for large vehicle projects that will put our car out of commission for more than a day or two; late spring/summer/early fall is obviously better for outdoor projects or indoor projects where it is nice to be able to open windows for better ventilation or not run the furnace to keep particles circulating in the air to a minimum). Sewing, crochet, artwork, and pretty much everything else are all anytime projects.
I've been working on two projects for the boy's room. This one is just about complete with just the hanging ribbons left to adhere and then ... hang it of course!
I'm also working on his name (letters to be hung) for his door. Will post maybe next week when it's done too
No progress on anything because I'm swamped at work. Although this did get me to thinking maybe I should pack the blanket I've been crocheting to take with me when I leave town. There will be some downtime some evenings so maybe I can get some more done on it. Thanks for the reminder!
I actually have a WIP for once, instead of a finished item! Half triangle quilt....I've assembled part of it since the picture was taken.
GTKY: I definitely do more fabric dyeing in the summer, since I can take the mess outside. I definitely make quilts year round, though the project I am hand-quilting will probably be put aside in the summer months. Don't think I need a queen size quilt on my lap when it's 85+ out!
I haven't done any crafting since last week. Though, last night I changed all the thread in my sewing machine & serger to get back to working on a shirt for DS! Hopefully doing that tonight.
The only thing that changes for me during the season change is what type of clothes I'm sewing. I've got a bunch of t-shirts, shorts, and dresses on my list for the near future.
