1. 7 weeks 1 day, I have no idea what fruit, and I am too lazy to go look.
2. And 3. Feeling so much better today after my appt yesterday got to see a heartbeat for the first time. I have never made it this far before so that is so so exciting. After 2 days of anxiety and no sleep, I have calmed way down now. I know I am not out of the woods but this is a huge milestone for me. My other two were both blighted ovums so at least I finally made a actual baby this time.
4. As of yesterday and my ultrasound picture the baby is now referred to as the blob.
Fearsy, sorry you ugly cried last night (hugs!), I did too!
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 5W2D - Apple seed 2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Fucking horrible. Spotted after the bathroom yesterday and freaked the fuck out. My OB talked me down but I'm still freaking out a bit in the inside. 3. Appointments this week? Beta #3 today, ultrasound next week or the following week 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? Not yet. I think we are both hesitant to take that step. Will probably decide a nickname after the ultrasound.
2. Doing okay today. I was pretty freaked out a few days ago because had some pain in my right side and I was convinced I had an ectopic. That has gone away now thankfully.
3. I have my first appointment and U.S. on Monday. I'm very anxious about it.
4. Not yet. Partly because I refuse to really get excited about this baby until my US. We referred to DS as hamburger for some reason.
Fearsy I hope your appointment goes well and you have a healthy little blob in there. Sending T&P your way! MrsEmuTavi FX for good numbers for you today! spazzz333 yay for seeing a heartbeat!
Hi ladies! Hoping this will help me cope with all the early what ifs. Thank you Fawk for recommending it.
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 4w5ds, poppyseed still. 2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Not so good most days. I'm definitely over analyzing every single cramp. 3. Appointments this week? Finally get to get into the NH and take the pee test. From there I talk to the nurse and get referred to the OB coordinator and I'll be assigned an OB. They won't see me until I'm at least 8w, so I've still got a bit before a real appt. Man I miss civilian care! 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? Not yet. DH is OOT, has been since before my BFP. So we've not had the chance to really talk about the pregnancy.
1- How many weeks are you: 6 weeks today - Sweet pea
2- How is PGAL brain treating you? I'm still a little detached. I have a hard time believing that after so long it can be really it for us and I just feel prepared for the worst - which sucks.
3- Appointment this week? I was supposed to have my early u/s yesterday but I pushed it to next week instead. I just would have worry so much if we couldn't have heard the heartbeat.
4- GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? No. I sometime say "le bébé" but as I said in #2, we're still a little detached.
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 4w1d - poppy seed.
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? It comes and goes. I cried in the shower on Monday, though - I'm so excited but so very, very scared it's going to be another partial-mole. I had no indication anything was wrong last time, so I can't even take comfort in the fact that everything seems OK.
3. Appointments this week? Nope, none - just waiting for our first appointment at 7w6d (Feb. 16th). It can't come fast enough.
4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? Not yet, really.
1. 5w5d 2. I have a low level of constant anxiety. Yesterday it got kicked up a notch because I was having really consistent right side pain so I was half convinced this was ectopic. Fine this morning though. 3) Other than the pain yesterday, nausea remains a close companion 4) we call it bam bam.
1. 6 weeks 2. It is ok. Having nausea all day does help calm me down. I am still nervous all the time, every little twinge or cramp has me fearing the next time I go to the bathroom. 3. Had our consult with the MW on Monday, first real appointment is in a month (10 weeks). 4. We call it "little siu mai". DD was "lil burrito". To be honest we haven't talked about it a whole lot. We are both just nervous.
Good luck Fearsy, I will be thinking of you today. So happy for those of you who have seen the HB.
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 7w2d, blueberry/sweet pea
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Ok. I woke up a few nights ago and couldn't feel MS at all, so I convinced myself that the baby was gone. But I was up bright and early the next day throwing up, so I feel better. Plus, I'm having acne and tender boobs, which I don't remember having with my loss.
3. Appointments this week? Second appt./US is today. I am hoping the baby has grown exactly as much as it should have or even more. I was 2 days behind last week. Also, we are touring a birth center on Saturday. My OB just changed her VBAC policy, so I'm quickly trying to find somewhere that will take VBACs.
4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? Nope. We don't usually do cutesy names.

1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? I am 6 weeks; 7 weeks tomorrow. So a sweet pea today?
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Not very good. My u/s is Friday and I'm scared I will see what I saw last time. My last loss was later on so there was a baby no h/b 10 weeks. To tell you the truth we can't go through this again. I'm trying to keep positive but some days it's really hard.
3. Appointments this week? Friday afternoon.
4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? No not really. It's sad but until I see on the u/s that there is some hope I'm trying not to get too excited. It's really tough though as we want this baby so much. Side note our 1 living child we nicknamed her muffin while she was on the inside It actually stuck and sometimes we still call her that.
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 6 weeks and 2 days -- a little sweat pea! 2. How is PGAL brain treating you? terrible! I had some spotting over the weekend -- like it was barely there and i had to really get up in there when I wiped to see it but it freaked me out so much that I went to the ER; doc said everything looks perfect for how far along I am so that made me feel better, no more spotting since Monday morning. 3. Appointments this week? no appoitnment until 2/2 but I am thinking about changing my OBGYN 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO .. no nickname yet & we both HATE calling it, IT, so I better come up with one quick
Sorry for those of you having PGAL-brain attacks. I hope you find some peace of mind this week!
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? Entered raspberry territory today! 8w0d (I'm stubbornly sticking with O-date/LMP instead of that stupid dating ultrasound) 2. How is PGAL brain treating you? It's okay. Ironically, it really helps that I feel like absolute shit. Also, staying super busy helps keep my mind off things. 3. Appointments this week? Not until next week. 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? We don't! I don't know why...maybe down the road :-)
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? Poppyseed, almost appleseed! 4w5d 2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Not great. I had constant cramps but they seem to be lifting a bit. 3. Appointments this week? Waiting to hear results of my second beta this morning. Then I think we are going to go from there. 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? No, I'm trying not to discuss it. If we do, it is always like "If this all works out..." I haven't told anyone yet either, which is different from my first pg. I kind of like it better that way so far. I feel like it would be easier if something happened.

1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 6w6d, sweet pea 2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Ok. I'm sure it's self-preservation, but I honestly forget I'm pregnant most days. I'm hanging on tight to my sore boobs and (very slight) nausea as good signs. 3. Appointments this week? Nothing coming up for another two weeks, but I just heard back from my endocrinologist and my thyroid level is *finally* where it should be (TSH is 1.42). This is the first time I've tested this low since starting on meds almost a year ago. 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? No, we don't talk about it much. Maybe after the first ultrasound, but even then I doubt it since my last loss was two weeks after seeing the heartbeat.
While I hate that we have all had losses, I am very thankful to have people who understand the mind game that is PGAL, especially in these early weeks. I know I value this support greatly. Ok, enough mushy stuff, I blame hormones
2. I have horrible anxiety some days worse than others. No symptoms so Im constantly wondering if my hormone levels are increasing or not or if something is wrong. But I know it's still early too.
3. My first appt isn't until 2weeks from now. My doctor doesn't do US until 20 weeks. I'm beginning to think I should change doctors because I'm scared and I don't think I'm getting the reassurance I need on their part. I can't help thinking how they would comfort me during labor.
4. No names yet, just trying to make it to my first appt/first trimester.

1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 6 weeks/Sweet pea 2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Pretty well, actually. Not doing betas helped me immensely this time around. I've passed 2 of my loss milestones and am chugging along toward the next two at 7w2d and 8w5d 3. Appointments this week? First ultrasound on Monday, Jan. 26 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? The Fighter
Me (37) + DH (39) BFP #1: DS born July 2011 BFPs #2,3,4,5: Four losses from Nov 2013-Nov 2014. Yeah, that sucked. BFP #6: 1/5/15 - Rainbow baby boy born 9/16/15
MrsEmuTavi Sending positive thoughts and ((hugs)) your way.
GL at your u/a @sterling!
carlymc721, We are close together with how far along we are. I experienced spotting the end of last week and through the weekend that subsided. I've read several things as far as what it could be but it seems to be pretty common around this time. I am glad your doctor was able to give you peace of mind.
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 6w3d, Sweet pea although the pregnancy app I am using says the size of a grain of rice so this whole food comparison has me confused.
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? We have our first ultrasound appointment tomorrow and I am terrified. I wanted to test again today but couldn't because I didn't have any HPT's left - this was probably a good thing. I know that until I see our bean and a heart beat I am going to be nervous and I cannot even begin to imagine what it would feel like if we went in and saw the opposite.
3. Appointments this week? Ultrasound appointment tomorrow.
4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? We call our LO "bean." [/b]
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 6w 2d/sweet pea 2. How is PGAL brain treating you? I don't know sometimes I'm ok and then I'm panicked because I have cramps or no nausea. I still haven't had any actual emesis so I'm worried that something isn't right. 3. Appointments this week? No. 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? Our first pregnancy we made it to lentil stage so we call our squish a lentil.
Most days I'm ok! I have sore boobs, feel dizzy a lot and I'm tired. I keep telling myself "today I am pregnant and I love my baby" that helps a lot!
3. Appointments this week?
I'm getting some labs drawn this week. They are just normal prenatal labs. I asked the nurse if the doctor would also consider checking betas and a progesterone level but unfortunately she is out of the office all week so it doesn't look like that's going to happen :-( my first ultrasound is scheduled for 2/2 where I will be 6 weeks 5 days! Super nervous!!!
4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO?
I am 5w5d. Appleseed. 2. How is PGAL brain treating you?
Better today. I had my first bets drawn on Friday and a repeat on Monday. My levels were 949 and went to 2662. Doubling time of 48 hours. I am making an appointment for an ultrasound for next week. I am sure I will be freaking out then. 3. Appointments this week?
Saw my ob yesterday. And she said "well you definitely feel pregnant". So that is good. 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? I call the baby bubs. My SO says the baby. Nothing very exciting for us.
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 5w3d today. Not looking up fruit or making tickers yet, it sucked to take them down before.
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? The good - I only peed on 4 cheapies and 2 FRERs so far, lol The line on FRER is getting darker and for the first time ever is way darker than control, which gives me hope, although I am trying not to jump too far ahead in my mind. I am also starting to feel nauseated and my boobs hurt, which is reassuring. The bad - I keep feeling pressure on the side (sometimes both) and worrying about ectopic, but I've had it previously and it was only the pressure from corpus luteum, so I'm trying to stay calm. The worst - I am avoiding going to the clinic to get an OB referral. We moved, so I am no longer with the RE who monitored me. I just really don't want to hear bad news But I am taking prometrium, so I should really see someone for an early U/S to make sure it's a viable pregnancy. It's causing a lot of anxiety...
3. Appointments this week? None
4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? We barely talk about it... I guess no one wants to get their hopes up just yet.
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 7w1d- blueberry/ sweet pea
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? I have good days and bad days, yesterday was a great day I saw the heartbeat. Today I'm worried that when I go back it won't be there. I'm trying to live day by day and just enjoy each moment but it's hard.
3. Appointments this week? First appointment was yesterday. I'm measuring one week ahead and got to see and hear the heartbeat at 146. I cried the whole time! I go back next week.
I hope it is ok if I join - I had a m/c in 2012, and even though I had DD in 2014 (11 months ago!) I still have PgAL brain...
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? I'm only 4 weeks, so um... Poppyseed? I think?
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? I haven't really taken it in. I just found out Monday and (eek) I haven't even called the doctor yet. I'm only 4 weeks and my first pregnancy m/c at 6 weeks so these next couple of weeks are going to be rough...
3. Appointments this week? None. Yet. My doc will probably want to do betas when I call though and there was some concern about an ectopic the first time.
4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? Not yet.

1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? 6w2d, Sweet pea 2. How is PGAL brain treating you? Okay. H told me he doesn't think there's any reason to worry, and I shouldn't either because that can't be good for the baby. I almost strangled him. 3. Appointments this week? Nope. 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? I'm sure we will eventually, right now H just refers to LO as 'them'...he's really hoping it's twins, and I'm really hoping he's wrong.
This is my first post on the new board but I've kept the same screen name
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? ~5w,5d 2. How is PGAL brain treating you? it's getting better! 3. Appointments this week? first one tomorrow! They're doing an ultrasound and I kind of wish they wouldn't, because I know it's totally normal if I don't see anything. 4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? not yet. We're both holding off on getting too excited just yet.
1. How many weeks are you? What fruit? My doctor is insisting I go by LMP... so for now I've gained a week. 8 weeks, 1 day - Raspberry?
2. How is PGAL brain treating you? It's better than it has been. Had an ultrasound on Saturday, saw the little bean with a heartbeat. Not feeling terrified anymore but still not really connected.
3. Appointments this week? Other than the ultrasound I saw my doc yesterday and have my FTS ultrasound and blood work booked, plus I've booked my anatomy scan. Shit is getting real.
4. GTKY: Do you and your SO have a nickname for your LO? No... we are still in the 'if' stage... I wish we weren't, but there you go....
Update on this: Results came back great!! Doubling time of 43 hours, and at 18 dpo my level is 1110. Which is above average. However, they made it sound like that now I don't need an early ultrasound, so I'm going to try to figure out how I can get one. Their typical plan is doppler at 10 weeks and ultrasound at 20. No way in hell I'm waiting until 20 weeks to see my baby. I know I can do the Fetal photo things in the mall, but I'd prefer going to a doctor for the first one at least.

1. 6 weeks 6 days 2. It's been getting better. I had an u/s last Wed and I got to see the baby and HB. I feel like that was one milestone passed. I'm getting the Harmony test done at 10 weeks. I'm sure PGAL brain will kick in high drive waiting for those results. 3. Appointments this week? I had one today. My first official prenatal appt. It was pretty uneventful. My next one is in a month and I'll be 12 weeks. 4.No nicknames yet.
