Wicked, when you gave us the head's up that nominations were coming, you were pretty clear that you did not want to mod for us.  I'm pretty sure that is why no one nominated you on this board.

This was exactly the case for me.  I second the nom for @wickedcandy if you are interested.  You are a wonderful mod and you certainly deserve the chance again if you want it.

Well, that has the potential to open up a can of worms. There are a lot of people who have not been nominated. What if I were now to post that I am upset that I haven't been nominated? I am not at all, but should I now be nominated if I hypothetically was?

I've been in positions like moderator and when my term was up, I was relieved to relax and not be in that mindset, I was thinking this was just a much deserved break for you.

@wickedcandy I am sorry that you were hurt by not being nominated. There are a shit ton of people not on this two person list though who have also put in a lot of time and effort. You yourself said that you didn't want to mod this board due to the place you were at right now. I think people really just meant to respect that by keeping your name off the list.

I have a hard time choosing who to nominate. There are so many wonderful ladies that have dedicated so much time to TTCAL who would be absolutely wonderful mods. I also think that therealbug and PetSquirrel woudld be great but then I think of all of the consistently kind and thoughtful responses given from mlal78 eurydicenymph holdingouthope megrae12 mrsg80intn blackbird and so many others who have been around for so long with me and I think that they would be great mods too although I am not certain any of them would be interested.

So really I am just being indecisive and I am feeling full of the love for you ladies.

@wickedcandy, this community owes you a debt of gratitude. The very reason there is gbcb is because of you and a handful of others who weren't willing to takeTB's "suck it" for an answer. That being said, I imagine you will have your hands full being a founding member here and helping this entire community (not just conceiving after a loss) grow and thrive. It is not that women here do not look up to you and respect you, but because they do not wish to place an unfair burden upon you.
