@kelsz12 jesster88 I have a whole board on Pinterest devoted to Mina's first birthday already. Sometimes I realize what I'm doing and am horrified that she's growing so fast.
My confession: my husband wants to drink the rest of our anniversary wine the next time we leave Mina with my parents for date night. Truth is, it's homemade and now almost 2 years old and POWERFUL, especially to a new mom who hasn't kept her tolerance after a year without booze. I'm not used to getting white girl wasted on a single glass of wine, and it's embarrassing. So the wine is going to be made into cupcakes, and soon.

I was in a mad rush for work this morning so I sprayed myself with pumpkin spice Glade. A couple of people complimented me on my perfume. I don't even feel bad.

Also, I made somewhat of a big impulse buy last night. Brandon Flowers, the lead singer of The Killers, is having a small concert in town in August and I flipped out and got two tickets during the pre-sale last night. After missing 3 important musicians to me and going to all of his favorites, DH promised me last year that whoever of my favorite musicians was in town next (yes I know I'm lame for still loving the Killers, but my inner teenage self is dyinggggg right now) we would for sure go.
So all last night DH was sulking and kept mumbling how stupid it was, because he knows how out of control I will be fangirling, but I was completely ignoring him because I give zero fucks. I'm psyched!

I totally get it. I live going to concerts for my teenage self. This summer I'm going to dashboard and third eye blind and I will get super emo and sing all the lyrics

I love The Killers too and MH gives me the "you're stupid for liking them" look whenever I listen to them.

gdaniels77 I almost bought tickets to Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle a few weeks ago. My high school self would have sold her soul for those tickets, but I couldn't get the husbear talked into it now. Husbands are overrated. *pouts*

calvinfoster Hey now! Siamese Dream is only 10 years older than Hot Fuss, and still an awesome album. Your teenage self obviously had good taste in music
2 more confessions to get out 1. I can't stand watching any fake medical shows. Grey's included. As a nurse I just get pissed at all the things they do wrong. I can't even focus on the love stories or drama. I'm all, " No one runs a code like that!" and "They are totally breaking HIPPA laws right there!" 2. I hate it when I'm able to be in the car BY MYSELF and someone calls my cell to chat (it was my dad so I had to answer). All I want to do is blare U2 as loud as I can and sing along totally off-key.
Missed Friday by a few minutes but enjoy my FFSC: not only did I love the Spice Girls in high school, I checked out of an important meeting as a corporate lawyer to buy reunion tour tickets the minute the went on sale and flew to Las Vegas from NYC with friends to see the reunion tour. It was awesome, I would do it again in a minute, no shame!

I was a bartender at a large nightclub when the Spice Girls became popular. I heard Wannabe about a bazillion times each night and it never got old! I still jam out to it every now and then. And recently I was looking for some birthday supplies in my storage room and came across a roll of Spice Girls wrapping paper. I can't wait to use it now!

Wow. I'm slow. You've mentioned before you are a lawyer but I just now made the connection with your avatar.

I love Elle Woods for many reasons and may or may not have named my daughter Elle (it's a nickname), but I picked the avatar because parenting makes me feel like I showed up to a party in a bunny suit but I have to suck it up and stick it out.
