Places LO has failed to nap in today: bouncy chair, play mat, bassinet and RNP. With and without swaddle. Finally got her to nap. Of course, it's on top of me.

Soo... To keep from being "that mom" on Facebook, I'm bragging here. DD went all day in her big girl panties without a single accident. I am currently celebrating with a pint of King Cake ice cream.<br/> Yay!! Great way to celebrate!
Places LO has failed to nap in today: bouncy chair, play mat, bassinet and RNP. With and without swaddle. Finally got her to nap. Of course, it's on top of me.
Tonight I just kept hovering over the mamaroo telling my LO "do you know other babies will nap in their swings?". She was not motivated by this...
I had a hard time today with lo getting his shots, he has never cried so hard for so long. I couldn't even get him to nurse, he finally calmed down and fell asleep after about 30 minutes of me trying everything I could think of to soothe him, I felt like a terrible mom. So my amazing husband came home with a delicious gourmet brownie from my favorite bakery to cheer me up. LO is now sleeping on my chest and I have no plans to move him, pretty sure I need the snuggles as much as he does right now.
I bought a big expensive swing for my second and last child at 10 weeks of age. And he's afraid of it. Awesome!! So I'm trying to decide if it's worth taking it apart and returning it. I got it from Amazon. Gah, swings are supposed to be MAGIC!
spikesmom Nooo! I've heard good stories about shots, and now I'm frightened again! LO goes tomorrow. I suppose I should get a couple donuts before I go. You know, just in case I need comforting.
Now I also will be counting down until GSC! They're called different names in different places - Samoa or Jubilee, either way they're delicious!
