Sometimes I think being a notch has given me too much information. I know that I wouldn't know half of the stuff I do if I hadn't "met" (not in the dirty way) you ladies. It's made me kind of judgey and I wish I wasn't.
For example, I see so many people post pics on facebook of their babies surrounded by fleece blankets, stuffed animals, etc. This past weekend I hung out with a few moms that were trying to sell me on teething necklaces and essential oils and shit. I just kept thinking to myself, "Those don't work. That is anecdotal." or when I see a picture, "Yikes, don't put all that shit in your baby's bed!"
I don't ever say anything, and I don't think it is a bad thing that I've learned so much here. I think that I'm the kind of person that would research and try to learn all of this stuff anyway, but I kind of wish I could just relax sometimes.
So I guess my UO is that sometimes I think too much information just feeds anxiety and makes parenting harder.
