What do ya got to say this lovely Thursay morning?
I've been saving this for a couple days and can't believe I actually remembered it.....
I can't stand when people refer to "daddy daycare" when the dad watches the kiddos. Why is it "daycare" when dad watches but not mom?! Because she's assumed to be the primary caregiver? Not in our house!

I've never heard this but if I did it would drive me crazy!

nbateman5 Yes to shared childcare responsibilities. DH and I will ask one another to watch DS if we need to do something, but it is assumed that we both take care of him.
mlee116 I would never pay that much for Sophie either if we did not receive it as a gift. There are cheaper toys that DS likes just as much.
My UO is that I really don't see the allure of Apple products. Full disclosure I am an electrical engineer and I design phones. Very few of my coworkers use apple products because we dont care for the design or software. There are cheaper and better looking smart watches out there that do not sell well, but people are going crazy over the apple watch. I don't get it.
I think wearing hunting camo should be reserved for hunting with the exception of the occasional baby outfit.
Not wedding dresses. It's flippin ugly. A girl I know just totally ruined her wedding dress by sewing mossy oak camo all over it and adding a blaze orange ribbon. The bridesmaid wore blaze orange dresses with camo ribbons. Like are you hunting ? What's the point ?

Ew! No offense to anyone here but I can't stand that. A client at work was describing their dream wedding theme to me, along those lines, and I was trying so hard to just smile and nod.
Also maybe a UO, but I do not like the whole cowboy boots with a glamorous gown wedding trend either.
I don't like the whole theme parties done a certain way just because it's popular on Pinterest. I mean if it's your thing go for it, but not because it's what everyone is doing.

Lol I wore cowboy boots with my dress, but you couldn't see them I got married on my moms farm so it was kinda fitting.

Wait someone actually did that? How strange. There was once a show that DH and I watched called "My Big Redneck Wedding". The things they did were so bad...it had to be fake...

Agree x100. I know of several people who have done this (I live in rural GA so go figure) and every time I'm like "Whhyyyyy?" Gosh, it's so fug.

Lol if you couldn't see them it doesn't count! You couldn't see my feet with my dress either, so I was barefoot the whole time and no one even knew.
mlee116 Also living in rural-ish GA, I feel your pain. Before my BIL's new GF we used to joke that when he gets married it will probably be a camo and orange wedding with venison and squirrel at the reception.

MY UO is probably pretty unpopular - I hate wearing flats. I don't find them comfortable and don't feel put together when I wear them (which is not very often). I feel better wearing wedges or heels, wore them all through pregnancy and still wear them now.

Agreed on mostly everything here. Even if Sophie is an great teether she is $25! That's just silly. Fox got his as a gift. Also, I am not a fan of camo anything but I like it a little more after my nephew went 30minutes pretending his grandpa wasn't there yet because he couldn't see him. (Because he was wearing a camo t-shirt) "that grandpa randy, he's always late! We really need to talk to him about being on time" it took everyone awhile to catch on...
I seriously offended my dad when he gave LO a full camo outfit, bib, bottle, booties and I felt like I needed to be honest with him and tell him that she won't be wearing camo. His response "but I can get her pink camo?" No dad. I still feel guilty but he would have no problem telling me that he didn't like something I got him. Oh well, it wouldn't have fit my giant baby anyway
I thought of another one: I really don't like pampers diapers. The nb swaddlers leaked easily and gave DS a rash. I really don't like how they leave an imprint on his bum. We have been given some, so I will send them to daycare (cloth at home), but I would never buy them.

Ahhhhh! I love them! They're my fav! Used luvs, huggies and pampers always trumps them. What do u use?
I don't like when people say "I don't cook or clean" it's fine to say "I'm not a very good cook so my husband does the cooking" or "my wife does the laundry I clean the bathrooms" or "my husbands home more so he does the chores" or whatever. But how the eff do you not ever cook or clean? Do you make your partner do it all? Do you eat out every night? Do you live in filth ? I think part of being a grown up is picking up after yourself, and knowing how to feed yourself.
My UO- we don't use credit cards except for an occasional 0% interest promotion.
I use my credit card for everything that I can. I get cash back for every purchase, and pay it off in full every month, so no interest charges. In the last 3 months, I've received over $200 in cash back, just for charging everything on my credit card, and then paying it off when I get paid biweekly. I am obsessed with the Discover card that changes their deals every quarter. You get 1.5% cash back on everything, but for three month periods, they give 5% cash back on certain categories. Right now it's restaurants, which works for me! I tend to be the runner for work lunches, so I go and pick up everyone's orders, charge it to my card, and they give me cash to cover their meals. Cha ching!
Hmmm I live in TN so camo is very common here. I don't think camo screams a classy wedding, but I figure it is their day so if it makes them happy then so be it.
My UO is that I hate skinny jeans and don't think they flatter really anyone.
IDK I suck at unpopular opinions b/c I am pretty live and let live.

Eta: nevermind I see u use cloth at home
I usually buy Kirkland to send to daycare because I can get them on sale for $.15/diaper. They are made by Kimberly Clark who makes Huggies. I know everyone loves Pampers, they just dont work well for DS at all.

We do this exactly too
We racked up enough credit card airline miles to fly to Australia last year.

I look great in skinny jeans.
Me too! I was adamantly against them until I tried them on. Then I realized that they actually make my curves look better. Skinny jeans for lyfe.

We tried up&up (Target brand) and Huggies. Pampers have always worked the best for us. The Huggies leaked all the time!
No joke my UO this week is about Huggies. Hate hate hate them. We've tried 2 different kinds and with both nearly every poop turned into an epic blowout. I've been sending them to daycare and using Honest and Pampers at home, and I was wondering why LO would have her clothes changed at least twice a day. Then we ran out of all other diapers and I started using Huggies at home again, and in just one day I realized it was the diapers and not user error. The only way to contain poop is if you put them on backwards. Wtf?
So I think we're going to stick with Honest... They give me the least guilt about not CDing.

I hate Huggies. They always freaking leak. Even cheap ass Luv's and the dollar store brand are better than Huggies, IMO.

I live in flats. I look ridiculous walking in anything with a heel. I probably look like I'm trying to mimic a trotting horse. I don't even wear sneakers really, just flats. I'm probably messing up my feet.
