I ordered bridal shower invitations only for the shower I am throwing for a friend. They came in yesterday and they are so perfect. I seriously love planning events.

I came home two days ago to find that H had cleaned the entire house on his day off, including all the floors and dusting. I know it was two days ago but I'm still on cloud 9 from it.

This is my second day of three days off. Plus, I finished my posts that are do for my classes already! This means vegging out in front of the TV tonight!
My house is getting cleaned today, laundry is all caught up and it's leftovers for dinner. I'm looking forward to sitting in front of the TV to catch up on Real World and The Challenge after DD goes to bed!
I'm down 3 pounds! And my running is seriously improving! It's a small accomplishment but I feel really great about.
Also my hair and makeup is amazing today. I look like a mother fucking super model.
Weight loss is HARD. Celebrate every lb and improvement!
Ugh don't i know it. It took me 5 years to lose 70 pounds. I've gained about 10 back since the holidays and it won't come off. So I'm happy to see any minuscule change on the scale :-)
FFWC: We got a really nice crockpot for our wedding seven years ago.
I've never used it.
I don't know how and they kind of freak me out. I just know I'll either burn the house down or come home to a room temperature soggfest due to not turning it on right.

Omg use it. Coming home to the house smelling wonderful and dinner already done is amazing. I use my crockpot at least twice a week. I even cook breakfast overnight in it. Trust me. It will change your life.

I'm almost more excited about waking up to fresh cooked breakfast!
Okay maybe I should give this a shot...
Okay I'm going to look up some crock pot recipes now......!!

I did forget to turn mine on once. That sucked.
That said, you should really try it out. You really can't mess up something like pot roast in the crock pot.
I use mine at least once a week. I have a huge word file with hundreds of crock pot recipes.

@pugsandwine this is my favorite breakfast one. Except it doesn't say to spray the crockpot with Pam which I would highly suggest unless you really like scrubbing dishes. It smells glorious in the morning.

Use it! Look up ideas on Pinterest. Even just putting protein in it helps with dinner. Chicken + salsa + shred = tacos.

Someone needs to invent one you can control from your iPhone. I've forgotten to turn mine on before too. Luckily I cook things from frozen most of the time so it's still salvageable when I do that.
