Now, for me anyway.
I think as a general rule, it starts around 6-8 weeks, intensifies up to 10-12, and then subsides sometime around 12-14. This is for most/many/some people... It is definitely not true for all. Some are sick earlier, longer, or even (horribly) throughout their entire pregnancies (poor things).
Mine began early (5-6 weeks) last time, got progressively worse until 10-11 when I literally couldn't keep anything down for a few days. I got on Zofran at that point and continued taking it twice a day until sometime between 20-22 weeks. I don't remember exactly when I finally was able to stop. I would have occasional bouts of nausea later on and pop one if needed, but didn't have to take it religiously anymore. If I didn't take it twice a day during that time, I would get sick again within 12 hours of missing a dose. It was miserable. I couldn't have functioned without Zofran. I'll be asking for a new prescription at my appointment Tuesday. I'm not messing around this time.
It's crazy how it's all coming back to me, especially since the dating of the two pregnancies is so close, just 2 years apart.
