Because i wont let her climb up my tummy then hang upside down like Dh does. If i laugh she tends to realise how ridiculous shes being then says "oh i stopped crying"

One of my four-year-olds at school cried yesterday because she asked me where one of the other kids was because she wanted to play with them...then cried because I pointed him out and threw herself on the ground because she "didn't want to look at him anymore."
I seriously contemplate writing a book about all of the hysterical things my preschool kids say. They are insane.
I wouldn't let him play in his diaper pail during nap time. This kid...
Also, any interest in a "why am I crying today…" thread?? I swear - my 'reasons' for emotional breakdowns are getting more absurd by the day. Most recent: I've been to the store 3 times in the past 3 days, and realized when I went to make dinner last night that I didn't have all of the things. Sobbing, snot, etc… it was a disaster. :/
These are awesome. It's even more fun when your kids are 12 and 10 and they start crying. Gotta love hormones.
Yesterday, I made my 10 year old cry because she attempted to curl her hair the night before, slept on it, which created a rat's nest (it looked HORRIBLE) and then when she tried to fix it, in the morning, it was just a mess of hard hair because she overdid it on the hairspray. I made her brush the rat's nest out, before school, and ruined her lyfe.
Because we made her take her "fia" (Sophia) dress off. Because she got told NO. Because she didn't want to go potty. Because she didn't want to go night-night. Because she wanted her Elsa "roof" (robe) on, then she decided she was going to be stubborn and threw it across the room so we took it away, and she proceeded to cry for the next hour.
Ahh the joys of parenthood. I can't help but laugh at her when she acts like that. It's really quite hilarious.
DS cries every day the past few days because 1) he wants all the spots on his ipad filled up with apps even though there's no more room on the ipad and he doesn't know how to play half of them 2) I'm not as good at Star Wars video game/light saber fights as daddy. He'll literally beg him to play and I beg him to let me play with him if daddy's busy and he flat out denies me. Rude.
Because the blanket on her shoulders keeps falling off and she doesn't like it tied.
OMG this is us every night---20 minute battle to get in the bath. Loves it the minute we are in then a battle to get out. Then it's chasing a wet naked baby around the house since she doesn't want to put jammies on. bnizzlebizzle
Just in the last couple of hours DS has cried because I wouldn't let him eat a highlighter. & because the cereal box doesn't have a car in it every single time you open it.

OMG!! H plays "Football" with DS every night when he comes home from work, and on the weekends. It mostly involves a lot of yelling random play shots, and then DS running into H to grab the football and a whole lot of tackling. DS knows mommy doesn't play that, because she has a baby in her tummy, so he won't even ask me. Also, I don't play hotwheels the right way, I don't set up the track the way that daddy does, and I don't give him a bath the same way daddy does. My H really drove himself into a corner with the whole "cool parent" thing!

Haden's been at DC all day so who knows. This morning he cried when I put put his shoes on, when I put product in his hair, when I put his jacket on, and when his pears ran out.
ETA Also when he saw me put the container of Puffs back in the cabinet.

Hahahah it actually makes me really sad! He tells my H that I fall off or don't know how to fight the robots. I'm not even that bad at playing. All things fun daddy is the "default parent" everything else falls on me. He'll be sitting on the couch with H while I'm in the other room doing something and he comes to me and asks for his blanket or milk. I'm like your daddy is literally RIGHT next to you. Crazy kids.

snarkysparklefart I told DH about that term and he looked at me, grinned, and said I think that is the best way to describe what is happening right now!
Because we had to go to the store after I picked her up from school. (She'll also cry if I go to the grocery store without her and she sees the groceries in the car.) Because after the store we didn't have more errands to run. WTF kid? Make up your mind!

. Lol my daughter still cries if I sing when she hasn't given me permission and she's about to be ten next week! Doesn't it make you feel so good that your singing induces tears? Lol these are cracking me up, reminds me how it is with littles
Be a use the bear was going to get her. I truely think she just didn't want to go to bed but she seemed scared. It is crazy how an imagination can scare a 3yo.
Let's see...Today she cried because I showered without her, even though yesterday she cried because she had to shower with me. She cried because she kept saying granola bar and got mad that I didn't know she meant pop tart. She cried because the dog kept trying to run away with her scrap of fleece after she kept putting it in his mouth. She cried because she didn't know what she wanted for dinner until she said scrambled eggs. Then she cried when she got them and wouldn't eat them.
