I have one but it's not mine it's my friend's. She wants to throw themed birthday parties for her son and have guests bring gifts that go along with the theme. For example, for his first birthday she wants everyone to bring ball pit balls and for his second birthday she wants everyone to bring Lego Duplos. I get that they want to build up a large amount of these specific toys and it gets pricey but I figure guests are going to bring other gifts on top of these. I know I will.
My own birthday related UO is that I'm half tempted to say no gifts at DD's party. We just don't have room for any more stuff! I'm sure I'll change my mind when she starts getting bored with her current toys but for now I just want the constant influx of baby items to stop.
My co worker is "terrible"..but she regifts toys given to her kids..or she returns them..or buts them away for a later time. She also hates how much stuff her kids get.
Edit to add "" because I wanted to make it clear I don't think she's terrible..it's how she'll describes herself.
I feel the same way. I think separates are cuter but do not make sense. My baby's like this in them...
Dude. I didn't get it until we traveled tbis weekend and separates were soooo much easier for the plane. No onesie snaps on the crazy wriggling monster. When she poops everywhere, I don't have to change her top and bottom. When she pukes, we just need a new shirt.
I have fallen in love with separates.
Yeah, I lucked out big time with separates one day when DD had a long over due huge poop. It came up out of the diaper but somehow didn't get on any of her clothes. If she'd been in a onesie it would have been a huge mess!
Dresses or loose tops with diaper covers are perfect for hot weather too. They aren't tight against DD's skin which makes them much cooler for her. In a onesie gets extra sweaty.

I wouldn't say I hate it. I actually really appreciate it. My kid has a lot more than we could afford to get her on our own and that's great. We just have nowhere to put it all! We plan on moving when our lease is up but that's not until the end of November. We'll be packing up all of the birthday gifts about a month and a half after getting them so they'll probably just be out until we move. It's just odd timing.

Separates work well with us because we cloth diaper. So on hotter days he just has his diaper and a tee shirt. I used to hate it but his little belly is so dang cute anyway, may as well show that sucker off!

Since my kid doesn't like baby food I think I will switch to rich Indian sauces. I will start with tikka masala sauce and go from there. I will then add honey on top if DS doesn't like it.
I get totally irritated by the women who celebrate Mother's Day when they don't have children, but claim they are a mom to their dog. Drives me insane.
I think all "hallmark" holidays are a bunch of bull. Mothers day, fathers day, grandparents day, valentines day, whatever day, are all absolutely ridiculous.
I'm late today but I have one. I hate conspiracy theories. I'm not naive enough to think our government doesn't do some shady shit but it annoys me when people say our government is behind the attacks or that certain incidents didn't happen. I just feel like it's a slap in the face to the victims and their loved ones.

I totally think 9/11 didnt happen the way the government want us to think it did. There's too much proof.

I also don't believe that we were given all of the the facts but I don't believe our government was behind the attack.

I agree with you about the victims and I feel terrible for them but I feel terrible because their own government made them victims. That's some shady shit right there.
