Yes it is. But I think having a newborn in winter is harder. This year is an especially bad flu year here.

Edit to add since this post isn't dying: I'm getting a lot better but it's taking a while to heal because my stomach is growing and constantly pulling it more, gah! I don't feel the need to hunch over when I walk anymore so it's looking up

My dd2 was born in December. I felt like a crazy germ nazi/helicopter mom. But it either worked or we were lucky, she didn't get sick.

I'm glad you're starting to feel better! As for the germs and baby, I'm already talking to family about precautions, and luckily everyone is on board!
