Thank you all for all your support!
Here's lil Miss Bean story:
Vera Anne definitely decided she was ready for the world.
I slept for a good 4 hours, which was weird I thought - no pee runs and well rested. After I woke up at 2:00 A.M. From my wonderful nap, back pain started which was also weird and it subsided about 430/500. Then I started getting sharp menstrual pains about ten minutes apart that wouldn't go away! Tried walking the pup, taking a shower, finishing thank you cards for my work shower. Finally I decided to call the office after I found blood. They said to sad to L&D. Along our drive there, my contractions became 3 minutes. At ~10 we arrived at the hospital. We waited for a lil while as they checked me in and when I got back to testing they were shocked that I was 6 centimeters.
They tried to get me an epidural right away even though I said no and they kept telling me I would change my mind, I wanted to go as natural as possible. It was kind of irritating bc they didnt offer me any nubain or anything first. By the time they got us to our room and by the time we got all settled I was 8 centimeters and they had to break my water. My contractions were really close and I kept telling them no epi but would be open to something to take the edge off even though I knew at 8 it was too late. I didn't want anything anyway, I honestly just wanted everyone to stop talking to me.
Didn't have time for much else because by that time Miss Vera Anne wanted out and within three hours of being at the hospital she made her appearance loud and clear! The doctor and nurse were amazing at helping me give directions and SO tried to keep me cool. He did wonderful.
Nurses and doctor were so shocked how controlled I was during labor and how I didnt want any drugs after. I just felt so much better after she was out! And of how fast she was delivered, I was the latest mom to show up and the first one to deliver.
Going natural was actually not as bad as I thought it would be. It was extremely uncomfortable and somewhat painful but it was amazing being able to feel everything and feel her come out and the instant relief from all my discomfort.
My Anne Girl likes to give the nurses a hard time and doesn't like to be in the nursery or want to breastfeed because she latches then falls asleep. Stubborn lil girl. Daddy is doing well, mom and baby too. She loves her daddy and he is so cute with her and amazing to watch. One of my favorite parts for sure. It is still surreal to me that I have a baby and she is all ours.
