My husband is actually from Washington State, I'm from SC so no I'm not. But I'm also not into soccer (I had to google the Sounders to double check which sport that was because at first I thought it was baseball!)

@all what nicknames do you and your SO use for each other? (Bonus points for embarrassing ones)
Honey bear, shugie bear, sugar biscuit. We like to make up silly words a lot too. I fear our poor child is going to show up at his first day of school and the teacher is going to think he speaks gibberish!

Ha, so normally we call each other babe or something generic. But we also have "alternate" names for when we are feeling silly. I call him Walter (after Jeff Dunham's crabby old man puppet, because sometimes he acts like a crabby old man) and I am Tammy (because I called him at work one time while we were dating and his coworker was being a butthead and said there was a Tammy on the phone instead of me). They have both stuck! We even get each other two cards at birthdays and anniversaries, one from us the other from the alter ego. The alter ego cards tend to be friskier.
@all if money was no object when would you want to do for the rest of your life?
Travel. I loved going to Europe last summer. London was definitely my favorite and would love to be able to go back and see more of it. 4 days was not enough.
@all What is your guilty pleasure breakfast cereal?
MauiBliss if you had to create a new color for Crayola, what would it be (name and color description)? I'm expecting a marvelously creative name...not to put too much pressure on you.
RainButterKitty. It would be the colour of a marvelous blessing of a unicorn kitty with wings, born under a rainbow just at the end of a soft, spring shower. This colour is the colour of joy. Of happiness. Of love. You cannot see this colour but it exists. In my mind.

AleWife - goats or hedgehogs?? ... it is time for you to choose.
Oh, damn ... Hm. I appreciate goats for their meme quality. I never tire of them.
Honestly, the hedgehog thing was really random for me. I found the floating guy one day and inserted it into a potentially hostile thread for a dose of care-free, listless humor. Then it just kind of stuck.
I'll stay true to the hedgies for now and keep it consistent. Because:
I thought of you ladies at my shower last weekend. Nursery theme is woodland animals + birch trees and my neice surprised me with these effing amazing hedgehog cake pops: [brr]*attempts first image post*
Nicknames for so: Either just G or babe. We're boring. "Oy, you!" also works for both of us.
Animals : Giraffes, penguins and pygmy hippos!!!!! Also hedgie hoglets.
If money was no object: I'd do consulting work for international asylum organizations so I could work from anywhere and not have to worry about the pay, while traveling constantly with my husband and kid.
