For everyone: What was your first real job? Mine was working at a little food stand at the zoo. I was (and still am) terrible at doing math in my head and I would always give people the wrong change. I hated that job so much but some of my friends worked there so that's why I did it.
I worked at a local German bakery and deli. Everything was made from scratch and were from passed down family recipes. My love for all things cake and cookies quickly disappeared for many years afterwards. Sometimes I wish I still had that problem. ☺️
Favorite beauty product: mascara. If I decide to not wear makeup for the day I still can't not wear mascara. I had lash extensions put on for my wedding and have been considering getting them put back on. They were amazing. Just a little costly.

First real job: dominos pizza. It sounds kinda lame but it was a lot of fun. Whenever it was slow they'd let you experiment and make up new items/recipes. I also got as much free pizza as I wanted so whenever friends had parties I could bring like 10 large pizzas for free.
Favorite sandwich: to be really specific there's this place in Denver (masterpiece deli) that has a turkey sandwich with fresh sliced pears, cranberry sauce and Brie. I could eat that everyday.
Beauty Product: I'm not really into makeup and such but I do really like my eyelash curler. I have fairly long lashes so I don't wear mascara if I curl them.

First real job: I had an on campus job freshman yr of college. I worked in an office and answered phones. And had to go put printer paper in the computer labs. It was super boring but I did get to do school work while there.
Favorite sandwich: anything with avocado
Beauty product: I have to have two, mascara and brow shadow. Both my eyebrows and lashes are blond and I have no face it I don't wear it.
I just butter the bread and put turkey lunchmeat on it.
I didn't experience this until I was in Paris. They'd take a fresh baguette, with freshly churned butter and turkey and you'd get the whole baguette for like 2-3 euro. It was SO WORTH IT.
OK, so this is actually a thing? ...perhaps some day I will try it. earthian, it sounded like some weird thing you liked as a kid that you still dig. I've never heard of it!

You'd be right though. I did love it as a kid and it stuck.

This is how my H eats sandwiches. He's English and tells me that mayo isn't a big thing in England. I don't know for sure since I've never been to a sandwich shop while visiting. But when we've eaten sandwiches at his parents it's always with just butter. So maybe it's just a family thing but it's actually pretty good.

Favorite beauty product: Keratherapy shampoo, conditioner, and smooth cream. Since I'm not getting Keratin treatments until after baby is born, this product line is second best!
Re the butter and bread sandwich. I had a sandwich in France that was just a baguette with butter. I don't remember any meat on it. Anyway, it was good!
I had a ham and butter baguette when I was in Germany. Simple but delicious. I definitely would be picky about the bread and butter if I attempted to make it myself, though.
Another thing I loved over there were butter bretzels. Mmm...

Favorite beauty product: I am going to name two—nail polish and lip color. I have well over 100 polishes in all different colors. Thankfully my lip color isn't as crazy. OPI and Julep are my favorite polish brands. Mac and Kat Von D are my favorite lip colors.

First job: working at a local movie theater that got bought by a (still local) corporate chain. I loved the job until things got too corporate. We had crazy regulars and it was in a interesting part of town so we got some strange people (which is always entertaining at a super slow job) but it was also a long time theater and not attached to a mall so people would come from all over to watch movies on the weekends. I hated high school but I loved that high school job and all the friends I made there.
Favorite sandwich: CONFESSION I do not like sandwiches at all though in pregnancy I have tolerated them. I don't mind putting bacon and egg on a biscuit or bagel and eating it like that though.
First job: receptionist/file clerk, not very interesting but my phone etiquette is really good. I get pissy when I call a place and they just pick up the phone and say the name of where you called and sound like you're an effing inconvenience. The lady who trained me was really strict about how you answered the phone and it stuck with me. "Good morning (afternoon). Thank you for calling XYZ. This is [your name here]. How can I help you?" All of this to be said with a smile on your face, because they can hear it over the phone. I'm also a whiz a filing.

Favorite Girl Scout cookie: thin mints! I make a horrible-for-you thin mint cupcake from them as well. So. Good.
Nicknames: Laurels and Mattles. Not even going to explain.
Guilty pleasure breakfast cereal: if I could I would eat Lucky Charms always. Or Apple Jacks.
Go-to coffee order: Iced coffee in the summer, Pumpkin Spice latte or Gingerbread latte for seasonal Starbucks, a traditional Macchiato if I am not at Starbucks.

Guilty pleasure baby names: I really wanted A girl only so I could name her Adelaide. For a boy, my husband and I are in love with Siegfried and the Germanic legend it comes from, but we decided not to inflict that name on the poor kid :/
Card: Magic: The Gathering, Cards Against Humanity, Blackjack Board: Pandemic (and its extensions), Galaxy Trucker, Agricola Video: Mass Effect series, Knights of the Old Republic
