Now I'm extra irritated because I have a little bloody discharge from the painful cervical check that was pointless because I'm as closed as you can get. I need to take a Benedryl and get a good night sleep. Hopefully I'll be in a better mood in the morning.
honeybee434, I'm sorry. These days are literally the WORST. BUT!! will soon be followed by the best days meeting and soaking in your new little lovebug. I hope you get good rest tonight.

Went to Motherhood today, finally, to get my nursing clothes stash. My wallet hates me but I'm so happy! SOOO many comfy clothes! I went the opposite route last time and regretted how uncomfortable things were.

I feel mega cramps on and off all day. I honestly feel like they're more gas pains than contractions, since I've been constipated lately, but I've never really had a contraction before that wasn't BH, so who knows. They haven't ever been less than about 7 minutes apart and that was only for a bit this morning. I'm not sure if this is actually my body starting to do something or just cramps from the internal exam the OB did yesterday? I'm so clueless. I just figure I don't need to worry about anything unless I start leaking or something starts hurting 5 minutes apart and then I'll go to the hospital. I'm like the worst second time pregnant person ever.

I hear you, I wasn't sure what I was feeling either. If I had to guess they might be early stages. It wasn't until they were really cranked up that I thought they were really contractions. I believe I was told to come in when they were regularly intense for 1 minute and 5 mins apart. I used an app, it helped me time them because after a while I couldn't concentrate (but obvs check with your doc). Here's to hoping everything goes smoothly!!'

So we decided to go with Annabel. It's the name we like with the spelling we want, and we decided that's all that really matters to us. And I love that S and she both have literary ties with their names. We'll call her Anna, though, as of right now.

We're still debating middle names, but we're leaning towards Minerva Amethyst right now. Decisions are hard. Anything wrong/obvious I might be overlooking with that choice?

What would the nickname be (if any)?
If we used a NN it would be Minnie or Min. Not sure if we would use one though.

It seems like a big name next to your other kids' names, but I don't remember their middle names to really make the comparison, just the names you call them on FB.

DD2 is Guin.evere Auror.a, DD1 is Ja.ne Elizab.eth. DS is Vinc.ent West.ley. so it's comparable.

Ah, I had a different name in my head for DS for some reason. Knew the girls names, but don't you usually shorten G's? That's just what would seem off if both of their's are short/shortened day to day and this one isn't. Then again, I'm not the one having to say them regularly
I think it's a name you never hear and rather refreshing.

We do shorten DD2's most of the day, but not always. DS doesn't get shortened, and obviously DD1 already has a shorter name. I think DH wants to call this one Minnie most of the time.

We almost named our dog Minerva, and called her Minnie. I love it!
