Never too early! I legit needed them by 7-8w with #3. The bloat was intense.
I did super early weeks the twins, like 5w. I've mostly been able to wear a size bigger or use the hair band trick with this one up until last week (20w)- I gained a lot of weight with/after the twins so lots of fluff hiding the baby in there :/
I did whip out maternity shorts early on because of the Lovenox bruises on my belly though, but once that eased up I switched back... the maternity belly panels are HOT in summer.
I'm team "whatever is comfortable"- you do what you need to!

I'm seriously to the point where I feel like everyone is staring at my tummy and wondering. I know that's probably not the case but it sure feels like that!

Me too! The dress I'm wearing today doesn't help my cause (empire waist and my tummy bloat not helping the cause). Gonna need to reassess my options to hide it better.

I am so so tired lately. Like, first tri exhaustion has nothing on this when I'm really exhausted I get shaky, and have trouble not nodding off, and lately that's like every day. I really wish the kids would nap, so I could too.
OB appt went well enough today, I have to redo part of the anatomy scan though because they didn't get adequate views of the heart apparently. I have that Monday. Hopefully it'll go smoother. My kids have never been the most cooperative with scans.
I also scheduled my glucose test for the end of the month.
anotherdreamer are you team green? Also maybe have them check your iron! When I was pregnant with L I had to take iron supplements and it really helped with my energy.

No, we're team pink again. They'll check my iron during the glucose test, I believe. I'm sure I am anemic though, I'm always borderline and have had to take supps with the other kids. I may start them before the test, like I did with the twins, since it's still a few weeks away. I don't know yet. They never really helped with fatigue before but who knows.

So I was definitely without a doubt showing by 8 weeks this time around. I knew I was pregnant before I even tested because of how ridiculous the bloat was. Allow me to dig up my first bump photo at 10 weeks.
Eta: the moral of the story is wear all the maternity pants! Also I was so skinny back then. Sigh.

I had to schedule my glucose test for way earlier in the morning than I'd like, because of my cat's food/insulin schedule. Yes, the irony of that is not lost on me. I am not looking forward to dragging all the kids, alone, to it either. I'm just not going to think about it until closer to the day lol.
Went to my new OB this morning. They gave me an EDD of April 4. They don't do vba2c. The only doctors that do it here are either at a hospital I don't want to use or the dr my SIL used that I was less than impressed with, so c-section it is at the end of March.
1st ultrasound Aug 22. DH will be in NYC for 2 weeks starting that day so I'll be solo at it.

so exciting!! it's kind of nice knowing what's going to happen, delivery-wise I'm sure. You'll be all ready by then and know what to expect. I can pretty much tell my OB exactly how things will go down at this point (I'll go 2 weeks past due date, AFI will get low, I'll be induced and that's that) and that's comforting.
my dh will also be gone for our first appt for this little one, which I'm bummed about. I brought J to all my appointments for C, but idk if I'm brave enough to bring them along this time. we shall see...

The new practice is out of a different hospital that has some special "baby friendly" designation or something that they're proud of. I asked if they do family friendly c-sections so I can get the baby on me immediately (the last one claimed to be, but it didn't happen). She said absolutely and they'll even lower the curtain for me if I want to watch. My initial reaction was absolutely not, but I'm kind of thinking about it now. I didn't get to see anything for my first two. It was very surreal all this stuff happening to me, but not getting to feel like a part of it. I definitely have some questions about how much of my insides I would see (DH said that was tough for him to look past when he looked over the curtain last time) but it would be nice to actually see a baby come out of me, even if it isn't the "normal" way.

yes! they have clear curtains too! I hope that you're able to do whatever feels right when the time comes. I'm happy with how much progress hospitals are making to have things be mom and baby friendly even in surgery.
jnnfrrose6 I think it would have helped me if I could have watched both of my CS. It was weird to lay there and be groggy and nervous, then get to the recovery room and just have a baby. It seemed so disconnected to me.
that's probably what I'll end up doing. I just don't super enjoy baby wearing. Too sweaty!
Fair point, I forgot you live in the middle of the sun. What about one of those ride-on boards that attach to the back for DD? Depending how much she needs an actual seat in the stroller when #3 appears, that might be another space-saving option. Dunno what your thoughts are but no way would I want to try and lift a triple stroller!
yeah, one that I was looking at has two seats, one that has a car seat adapter, and a sit/stand back portion. we're going to try to get to a big consignment sale today and I'll see if there's anything good available (our current stroller is kind of dying since it was damaged when we brought it on a plane with us) but it's not a rush or a huge deal if I do have to baby wear for a while. I just can't imagine my not-even-three year old junie walking for an entire walk, lol! we'll find some kind of solution.

Lola, nope didn't make it out yesterday. Junie's got it pretty bad now and was miserable and slept all afternoon, so we all just stayed put. We've got time to find something though.
I've had the lightest of spotting yesterday and today (once each day pale pink when I wipe). Never had any with the other pregnancies, so called the Drs office. She said its normal but to try and relax and limit picking up "toddlers or any heavy items." Ha.
