I've had the lightest of spotting yesterday and today (once each day pale pink when I wipe). Never had any with the other pregnancies, so called the Drs office. She said its normal but to try and relax and limit picking up "toddlers or any heavy items." Ha.
I had pretty heavy spotting for a week (week 7) and was also told I couldn't have sex which was fine with me at the time. But yeah, not lifting the toddler is pretty hard to avoid. I hope it stops soon.
Had a little more the next time I went to the restroom. Actual tiny clot looking bit )sorry for the TMI). Trying not to read too much into every little twinge now in that area or the lower back pain I assume is really from the yard work I did yesterday.

I passed some huge clots with DS from my SCH (subchorionic hematoma) and bled a lot. I had some spotting this pregnancy too. I am hoping yours is nothing serious and goes away soon. I know how disconcerting it can be anytime there is spotting or bleeding

That sounds odd. I'm glad you called. I hope your DH can pick up some slack tonight and that the spotting stops!

No spotting today, so that's good. DH is out at a dinner with people he's interviewed with several times already. They asked him to do a presentation which they moved up from Thursday to tomorrow as well to "see how he thinks." He's also flying to Philly next Tuesday and then Long Island Wednesday to Thursday for interviews with 2 more companies. So, I'm semi on my own for a few days over the next week. Hopefully the kids don't go crazy.
Did any of you ladies bring or use your own L&D gown like Pretty Pushers or the other brands available now? It seemed really silly to me to buy something like that, but after having 2 long inductions and being hooked up to all kinds of things, I think having something pretty, comfortable, and functional would be so nice. I hated the hospital gowns and never had to change out of it because of blood or anything like that. I'll have to see what the hospital I deliver at would allow, but I'm exploring some options.

I didn't do my own gown, but I had a c-section so I don't know if it's really and option in the OR. I did bring my own robe for recovery. It was light weight and comfortable. I practically lived in that after DD was born. It was easy to nurse in. I could open it up when the night sweats hit and it was nice to have that piece from home to wrap around me.

I didn't because blood everywhere. However I did buy a nice robe and nursing nightgown set and exclusively wore that after delivery. So comfy and practical.

I have felt really good throughout this pregnancy, but I am officially done. This kid doesn't have enough room and is constantly pressuring my pelvis and ribs simultaneously. Also I have no energy and have started to swell. Hopefully I go a week early again so I only have 7 more more weeks.

My tummy is so upset today, I made poor dietary choices yesterday, especially since I'm on Metformin... ugh. Baby keeps kicking me, which isn't helping, but is reassuring at least.

Protip: don't show your almost 4 year old how to do a somersault when you're a little over 6 weeks pregnant and morning sickness has started to kick in.

Thanks. Been feeling better, but holy exhaustion and sudden nesting urges. This pregnancy is kicking my butt. Little miss is also very kicky herself. I keep hitting a lurch around 5pm where keeping my eyes open is insane, so once DH walks in the door I pass out until near the kids' bedtime. Now it's 1:22am and of course I'm awake- no good.
Getting ready to switch the kids' beds around, the girls' cribs converted to toddler beds but I have monkeys and DD1 has hurt herself using the darn thing as a jungle gym twice now (and got her leg stuck between the back and the wall one night, dangling there)... so giving one DS's low sided toddler bed after a refurbish, and getting a second one... should be safer. We would buy them twin beds but we needed one for DS since he's getting bigger, and three new beds would be serious cash at once... so this for now. One of the cribs will come to our room for the baby. So. Complicated. Anyway, then we'll need to rearrange our room, and blah blah blah... yada yada... lots of things to do in the next 3.5 months. Which seems like plenty of time... just daunting.
Liv How are you doing with the news of #3 sinking in? Handling things ok?
Oh yes. It's honestly a little bit of a relief to know, OK, we're going to have 4 kids! We were so conflicted about whether we should stop at 2, permanently, or leave that door open. I really didn't want to make a decision like that at 25, so I feel like I can just focus on what we're doing now and "bloom where I'm planted" with the kids we will have.
I have my first appointment today. I'm a little sad because DH is out of town and won't be with me to see the baby for the first time, but there were no other appointments available in the near future and I just want to get in and make sure everything looks good. Our baby sitter is out of town, so thing 1 and thing 2 will also be coming along-- which I'm stressed about but also kind of glad because then at least I'll have someone(s) to go with me!
I'm pretty much done with being pregnant. I am developing SPD and it hurts like a bitch. Sometimes I can't even take another step for 5 minutes. I just get stuck in one place! It's awful!

Oh gosh, that is the worst. I hope it gets a little more tolerable soon!

Liv Let us know how the appointment goes! I'm so glad you're doing well with the news! And perfect timing for you to step out of LLR to give yourself more time.
honeybee434 it's symphysis Pubis dysfunction. It's when pelvic ligaments become loose too soon. Feels like my pelvic bone is ripping away from whatever it's attached to when I walk. Stops me dead in my tracks and I look like a fool.
No baby to see.... yet! Apparently I'm more like 5.5 weeks along, so all we could see was a nice little yolk sac. We have another ultrasound next Th so DH will get to come along with me to see who/what's there then.

did you think you were farther along?
by my LMP, yes, but my cycles have been not quite perfect ever since I had Junie, which is how we have Cy... and now how we have this one.
