I hate minivans. I don't mind getting older and I don't mind being more "mom" for most things, but I have to have a car that I feel cool and hip in. I don't care how many features and luxuries minivans have, I will never own one.
I don't want a minivan either but I know better than to say never. With LO I went from a two door convertible to a station wagon and I actually kind of like it.
The whole dad bod/mom bod thing annoys me. I'm all for self acceptance but I don't need dozens of internet articles full of headless parent torsos.

Same, now that I've been driving around in my SUV/Crossover (I'm not entirely sure which one my car really falls under), I'm not sure I want to go back to a sedan unless I have to. My car is going to be big enough for two carseats/booster seats so I'm sticking with that type car.

We still have a Prius as our only car. Although we're finally thinking of becoming a 2 car household and getting a 2nd small car (current front runners are Honda Fit or Nissan Cube). Mileage ftw!

I'm not a mini van person either. I thought we were going to have to get one though to fit the kids, animals, and stuff in though when we go to my parents house. Thank God we bought my parents Trailblazer and everything fits! If I had to absolutely get a van though, the new Honda Odessey isn't horrible.
I have an Expedition right now and have for years, I love it! That being said I did convert to a mini when my older boys were young and they are soooo convenient when you have littles. I told dh if we could manage to conceive again I'd go back to a van. I am at the age where I don't really give a damn what the vehicle looks like as long as it drives and does what I need it to.
I, too, could never see myself driving a minivan. I hate how the engine is squeezed in there...so hard to work on. and it's worse than driving a tank. and it's like having another small house to clean. that being said, /riding/ in a minivan with all your friends is super fun! haha.
my UO? I don't get all the hype about cats. I like cats fine, but watching videos of them on the internet? meh. they are boring critters. I wouldn't want one either. OH and another: I HATE the shoes they make for toddlers. They are all so heavy and hard-bottomed. I believe that shoeless is better when you can do it (like obvs my kid needs shoes at the park, but not so much in our back yard.) was at carters and Oshkosh today....the shoes for LO's were harder and heavier than the ones I was wearing. how is baby supposed to walk in these??

kimberpoo, totally agree on the shoes!!!!! LO has to wear shoes at DC and I hate it. Shoes off at home!!! And in the car! And if he's not waking around anywhere else. He takes his shoes off all the time!

I'll never have a sedan again as long as I have kids in carseats/boosters/strollers. Maybe not even after that. Though I had a new Malibu for a loaner a while back and it was fun to drive. Very smooth ride and nice engine. But getting LO in and out of the carseat was horrible as was getting the stroller in and out of the trunk.
babycaps, it is getting tight with rear facing, I have to put her in feet first. I have bumped her head a few times getting her in! The only down side is the doors don't stay open if on an incline
