I am considering weaning. I'm not pumping enough anymore (still need to try fenugreek and maybe power pumping a couple days) and dd now completely refuses to use a nipple shield but her latch kills me even though it looks right. I'm really sad just thinking about this bit I seriously cannot take many more days of excruciating pain while she eats.
Now I'm in a pickle. DS is sleeping in my bed and he had diarrhea again. It's up his back and on my sheets. But he's sleeping and I want him to rest. Guess I'll have to buy a new mattress.
It's a gorgeous day here so I'm hoping after some errands that I can get a walk in.
Dd is going through a if I'm not walking or standing in going to be pissed phase. Problem is she can't do either unassisted. So, my back hurts.
Us, too! Does she have a bouncer/walker? That usually buys me 10-15 minutes.
She has a bouncer, but usually she gets pissed if I put her in it. Instead she wants to stand next to it and play. But then I have to sit there because she hasn't figured out how to fall gracefully yet. This phase is turning my not ready for mobility phase into ready for mobility pretty quick!

My kid is acting the same way. If I try to get her to sit lately she throws herself back and then just starts rolling all over the place lol it's cute but it's also exhausting.

I'm sorry your having a rough time still. I wish I had some advice. I'm in the not ready to wean yet boat too, although it's starting to cross my mind now that did has bitten me so hard I bled.

Dd refuses to sit in the same way. She just doesn't bend at the waist. It's kinda cute and funny.

sabby2 - its a tough decision, but I have to be honest. It was a HUGE relief to be done. In the end you have to do what works best for the two of you, but I don't regret weaning.
So, funny story. Yesterday we ordered pizza for dinner. There's a Monday/Tuesday special for the super extra large pizza that makes it cost the same as a medium so we got that. When I went to pick it up and it didn't fit in my car! Like, I couldn't close the passenger side door with it on the seat. Then after we ate DH wanted to be lazy and put the whole box in the fridge. Naturally, it wouldn't fit there either. So he took all of the condiments off of the bottom shelf on the door to accommodate the overhang. Not sure if I should be annoyed or impressed lol.

sabby2 this is why pb is so great. MrsTinMKE is on the other side and can tell you about the light at the end of the tunnel.
Anyone else have SOs that are off for the summer?? I do. And I'm so jealous.
On the plus side, I get lunch dates with le babe!!
DH works for the school district (but not a teacher) so he does 4-days all summer and every Friday off. It was nice last summer, but this year: it will be AWESOME!
