I'm meeting crawford411 on Saturday for drinks! And we might FaceTime with pnwlover12 and nicb13 and possibly do a FaceTime shot. And crawford411 gets to meet D! I'M SO EXCITED.
SO JEALOUS! I need to be on a coast for a notch meetup. There are not a lot of land locked bitches
I'm soon to be one of the land locked bitches. I think still not very close to anyone though.
I am going to lose my shit! My new boss today told me about a meeting I need to be at next week. Problem is, is that NO ONE knows WHERE this meeting is and I cannot get a hold of ANYONE! I am afraid that it is going to be like in Miami or something and I am going to have to jump a plane last minute. OYE - get it together people!!
One of my friends just told me that she started potty training her four-month old and now at nine months her lo only poops in the potty. I didn't realize that was possible.
I think this is a thing. Elimination communication perhaps?

I just settled the case I've been working on! I'm really happy with the outcome, and the client gets to put it all behind him and move on. I'm going start drinking now! (I would go for a run first, but it's still raining.)

I'm landlocked, too! I'm not far from some notches, but they aren't on here much anymore. If you happen to live in western Kansas, it would still be like 2.5 hours from me.

So exciting! Congrats! Hope you get to treat yourself
I want J to crawl. Or roll. Or do anything. He sits now, but that's really it. I'm starting to worry he's behind.
I thought I wanted the same thing. Dd has been rolling now for about 3 weeks. But only back to front. She super close to crawling and walking too I think. The closer we get to it actually happening the more afraid I am. Its like the anticipation of it is exciting, but the realization of what's to come is overwhelming. And I'm definitely not ready.

My wedding anniversary is Sunday and I'm kind of bummed out. I don't think H has ANYTHING planned. Last year we went to NY and I went along last minute. He didn't even get us our own car, so I walked my pregnant ass up hill to some restaurant close by. I was mad. It was like 2 miles and I was winded as fuck. And not in a cool windgirl kind of way. More of a sweaty and out of breath kind of wind. Not even a card. Nada.
Happy anniversary in advance. Sorry your H can be so dense about it. My H is the same way. Our anniversary is tomorrow and it's our 5 year. I planned dinner and a hotel for us because I knew my H wouldn't. He would be happy sitting at home like every other night. I hope your H surprises you with something nice. If not, treat yourself at least!
Since I finished school dd hasn't been getting bottles. We've been trying to give her them since we're going out and staying at a hotel Saturday night for our anniversary while my mom watches her. She's refusing to take them. I have plans tomorrow night so H will put her down. Im hoping with me out of the house tomorrow she'll take one. If she doesn't though I'm worried she won't eat for my mom.
Ugh. Stop stressing me out baby. I just want to go out Saturday without worrying!!!!

Don't stress. DS does all kinds of things for my mom and for DH he won't do for me (bottles, napping). And your mom can handle it!
It's 91 degrees. Is that sweatpants and hoody weather?
Why did H choose this outfit for DS?
Not smart.
We had the opposite problem today. DH and I took DS to the museum. It was 85 when we left our house. We got to the city (40 minutes away) and it was 65. DS was in a tank top and shorts. I'm just glad I packed a jacket.
apk4 I truly don't think LO is behind. For real. Those babies that are crawling and almost walking are AHEAD of the game. What does the pedi say? These boards and hearing about so many other babies the same age as yours will make you worry but try not to. He is not behind.
FWIW I had a Pedi say that babies who walk early struggle with reading later on so there's that! Lol

And to add to that, DS has always seemed ahead with the physical aspect but he still doesn't babble much or say consonants. Some days I worry about it but I just try to remember everyone develops at their own pace.

She hasn't said anything about the crawling, but she said he really should be rolling both ways by now. He has rolled before, like maybe 5 times total, he just doesn't seem to want to.

I don't even pay attention to what DD babbles! Our kids are all fine!
