DS has pink eye in both eyes. I just gave him the eye drops. It was traumatic for both of us. He's over it, I'm not.
they gave you drops? That blows. The ointment is so much easier.
Yes, it's fun. I held him down and as soon as I got one drop in, he started screaming and pinched his eyes shut. I had to wait until he calmed down to do the next. Repeated for 4 drops. I have to it again in a bit and I'm dreading it. Plus he has a cold with a cough and fever. He looks miserable. I gave him a bottle earlier and he ate the whole thing then coughed so hard he projectile vomited the entire 8 oz. The pedi said his chest is clear so we just have to wait it out.
I need to find a site like that for people here in Missouri! I go to some things like library classes to make friends since all my friends are from work and I SAH now but I feel like I've put myself out there and talked to other moms but nothing. Maybe I'm not likeable enough. Sometimes if I just go sit or walk up to another mom to talk I get the stink eye. I guess it's just me and the girl for now.
Did you try mommeetmom.com it's like match.com for mommy friends. I just heard about it last week. Totally know what you mean though, I've met a lot of moms at the playground with DD1 this summer, some I see over and over every single day but I still am not friends with any of them.

We got warned at daycare today the one of the infants went home with pink eye. I'm hoping we don't catch that. He's already had a cold for months. Good luck lrmrtn... Hopefully you don't have to give many drops.
And now that I know we can post videos... DS does this the entire time he's in the jumper. We could leave him in there all day and he'll just jump and laugh the entire day. Nonstop energy:
The dog has had his "lipstick" out for the past 30 minutes and he keeps licking it. I keep going back & forth between thinking something is wrong and feeling super uncomfortable even being in the same room with him.

MIL has a puppy mill rescue Chihuahua. He has a boner about 98% of the time. He perches on her chest and licks MIL's face while she pets him. This is the single most uncomfortable thing I've seen in my life.

I hate congratulating anyone on Facebook about their new baby because it inevitably means your phone will go crazy with all the other posters congrats notifications. But then I remember how execited I felt when my babe was born to receive each and every message so I congrats thenget annoyed anyway

You can leave the conversation after you post a comment!! Best feature ever!
I just went over there to catch up. I'm bothered that the handful of ladies that are all like, I don't get it, this is stupid, blah, blah, blah, are people that haven't posted in ages. So stay where you're at. Nobody is putting a gun to your head.
I'm still bouncing between both, but I really like it here better. I like this forum. I think it's user friendly both on desktop as well as mobile. And the only reason I was over there was for my ladies. If they leave, I follow, because yeah, that's why I'm there to begin with. So we be sheep then.
I was just reading her stuff on TB. I respectfully disagree and plus this app is waaaaay easier to use now that I know what the eff I'm doing (sort of!). Plus plus, this app doesn't say BUMP in huge letters for all my coworkers to see.
