An exercise in futility, but yes - it's clear that the BMBs (even those from earlier in 2015) that were already established on TD are doing fine, as they had a large exodus of members come over from TD. The newer ones (I can only speak for N15 personally, but have lurked a few others) that have only been established since coming here, like Bunny said, are ghost towns. It will be the same way moving forward for some time, until LOTS of traffic is generated. The pool of potential pregnants is dwindling, thus leading to much, much smaller BMBs.
Family stuff has also gotten in the way for all 3 of us, slowing down progress on the website. But we're still on track to launch this summer. And I really believe that once the website is up, we're going to see traffic pick up in a big way again. We are still averaging 250-300 new members a month, which while it's not fantastic, is still forward momentum.
If after the site is up and running, if we still see declining engagement on BMBs, we are definitely open to re-evaluating the situation.
FWIW, I also like the idea of the quarterly boards so that you stick with the same people the whole time, but there are more people involved. Anything to get more conversation going, really. And as for the argument that you won't have much/anything in common, pregnancy-wise, with someone who is 3 months ahead of you, you rarely have things in common, pregnancy-wise with someone who is 4-5 weeks ahead of you, but that's still the case on BMBs (I'm end of the month, there are ladies who are 4-5 weeks ahead of me).
