Good luck path75. Let us know how it goes. I get the affinity with rnp- wish they made them in my size. So cozy.
Well this was a failure which could have been a success. My husband likes to check on our son if he wakes up to use the restroom. Usually he rubs him and talks to him while LO is sleeping (i quit bitching because its exhausting). So last night he saw him on his belly at 1am flipped him over and proceeded to say he just wanted his papa. Of course he woke up so he brought him in bed. I told him your putting him back to sleep. Well he did but pack in the rnp. Really. Will try again.

I realize this thread's a few days old but I'm catching up DS started in the bassinet on the pnp for the first week home. Then he slept in his glider in my room until about 4 months old I believe. I transitioned him to his crib right before I went back to work at 4 months. It was harder for me than him. I think the pnp is going to be his bed when we go on vacation in a few weeks. Not too sure how that'll work out. If all else fails, he can sleep with me.
Crib in their own room since about 3 months old. Have tried to have all naps in cribs since the same time, but occasionally one would still nap in the swing or bouncer.
LO has been in his mini crib (about the size of a PNP) since he was 1 week or so. Our house is tiny so we have a bed in there since it was our former guest room and I slept there for the first 3-4 weeks he was in the crib. Prior to that he slept in his bouncy seat by our bed or by the couch when my parents were visiting. Bouncy seat is where he naps at home but in the crib at DC. He sleeps in the PNP for travel.
lo came home and REFUSED to sleep anywhere but in my arms and in bed cuddled to me. a few weeks later ran into one of his nicu nurses and she laughed saying they use to hold and cuddle him at night towards the end he just loved human contact so at night a nurse would come play or snuggle with him....grateful for the care but thanks lady he is now almost 7 months and still in my bed. only lo to do that of ours.

So far this week he has slept in the crib. I might be able to pack away the rock n play. Woot!

woot woot fx that keeps up we did try the crib once last week but he woke his self up trying to turn on to his belly. i am hoping to have him in his own bed by 5 at this rate.....jk....maybe not
lissjm we also have a mini crib and I think that's part of the reason LO has always felt comfortable in it, never felt too big for him. Side note - what do you use for crib sheets? I had a couple custom made since I wasn't happy with the options out there when I first looked.

We got American Baby Company portable/mini sheets in a jersey material from Amazon and they fit perfect. We also use them on our PNP.

Just to add last night he woke as soon I put him down. He eventually went back to sleep and just fussed a little.
