teenagers are so dumb. I'm over here like...was I that dumb?
This girl calls and she's like who's this? Uhm you don't know who you just called? Then asked if I tried to call her mom, I go I dont know...who's your mom? Then she's talking to someone and then says oh I have another call I'll call back. Uhm...alllright then. What just happened?

windwithfingers, It was kind of raised and one night it bled some (which sparked the big blow up with DH). But the main reason I got concerned was it just wasn't going away.
He hasn't actually had any other rashes so I didn't understand it wasn't a diaper rash.
He never seemed too bothered by it. I think with the cream they gave us it will clear up soon.
and how have you only had couch sex once? But then again, I have never had car sex so there is that!
I actually didn't mind being pregnant in the summer. My office is kept at approximately -15 degrees, so I was actually a comfortable temperature at work or once. And outside of the office I just lived in sundresses and flip flops. I also thought it worked out well the first tri was during the winter, so I didn't have to be worrying about needing bigger coats.
I don't know what to do about 1st birthday guest list. I'd prefer to just do our immediate families, which would be us plus 10 people. DH wants to invite all of his aunts and uncles and cousins. If he invited his extended family, I want to invite mine. I was just working on that list and it's about 60 people who are all local. Argh

We are in the same boat with family. My dad has 5 brothers and sisters and FIL has 6. I'm having a hard time deciding where to cut the list at because we'd like to have the party at our house. That's a lot of food!!
Re: pregnant in summer, I agree with saraml13. I worked in AC, and only had one miserable wedding in Minnesota in August to suffer through, as a preg bridesmaid. I would have been more worried about being a wobbly preg lady on ice in winter. I also basically didn't have to buy that many maternity clothes because I just bought flowy dresses. I also kind of want baby #2 in about the same season so all of the clothes I already have could be reused. If I'm not ready this winter, then we would have to wait another year or sacrifice the clothes.
Add me to the list that didn't mind being pregnant in the summer. I for some reason never felt crazy hot while pregnant. DH even bought a battery operated misting fan for me to use but we never had to bust it out.
We did bring it to Disney because it was so freaking hot.

Very good points. Didnt think about the ice! I also love throwing on a dress. I dont want to buy more clothes either :/

Last summer was unseasonably cool here, and I didn't pop until later, so totally didn't mind being pregnant in summer. It appears that the burden starts earlier in subsequent pregnancies though, so who knows how I'll feel next time. I would like to be due oct or later next time; I have no desire to be 8 or 9 months pregnant in July or August.
My rainbow arrived 10/15/14.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs.
TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
Hi all! Catching up from a crazy day. Sitting here with a still somewhat sick sleeping baby and just noticed a bit of poo from his blowout on my shirt. Awesome.
I think we are gonna try in October. I cannot believe that I'm going to try and have a third kid... I'm terrified of the close age gap but I'm not getting younger and I thought I'd be done now. Not sure I can wait much longer.

I just read this. This is amazing.
I want her to call back and I want you to say "This is your worst nightmare." And that you definitely called her mom.

Agreed about 8 or 9 months in summer. And last year was a cooler summer. I liked me on maternity leave during the holidays!
I think next time I would like to be due around June. The more I think about it I really think I had some ppd. I think it would be much easier for me to get out with baby if the weather is nice.

I totally agree with this. We may start TTC in the next few months because I'm old and I want one more.
I got pregnant with DS in June and for me that was the perfect time to get pregnant. I didn't show until August and I wasn't cold at all when fall/winter came because hormones. He was born in March which was very nice and it also gave me sometime to lose weight before summer.

I wonder about this as well. I really struggled with not wanting to leave the house this past winter. I was wondering if the nicer weather would make a difference

Our kids are 19 months apart. It's tough but not as tough as I imagined. It was nice that our older son was too young to really get jealous when we brought our little guy home. He def is jealous now at 2-2.5.
We are also not spring chickens and had an unknown timeline with adoption so started the process when our older son was pretty young.
I am not even ready to think about getting pregnant again. This is all crazy talk!
I feel like a couple months ago that's what pretty much all but 2 of us were saying. I'm surprised so many people today jumped aboard to talk about future babies!

I for sure don't want another so soon. I want dd to be 2, at least.
