Anyone interested in talking about stats at the 15 month checkup? what size clothing is Lo in? any issues you feel LO is having? Any other information you feel like sharing?
I am just wondering how everyone is doing, how are you handling our LO's now that they are up and moving, talking and now able to voice their opinion. Anything fun planned for summer?
15 months at 6/16. Check up was Tuesday. Height 34 in, weight 25.5. 18 month - 2T LO is not talking too much babbling a lot but very few words that we can understand. Also she is having multiple sinus infections that come back about 1-2 weeks after stopping antibiotics. Pedi is not concerned about the speech until they reach 2. since she communicates fairly well with sign language (she can get her point across) she may not talk until later. We restarted another antibiotic (cefdinir) for 14 days and recheck while on them. if no better we are going to a pedi ENT. I feel so bad for her with all the snots and constant coughing. She is also still attached to her Paci. she typically only gets it for naps and bedtime, but some days when she is fussy I give it to her just to get her to stop fussing. we are also trying to figure out when to forward face. I know it is safer for her to be rear facing for as long as possible but as she is getting bigger it is getting harder to squeeze her into the jeep rear facing. I almost have to fold her in half! Our pedi suggested waiting until 35 pounds. so we will give it until then. Where I live (college town) I am more apt to get rear ended by some college student farting around on their phone then me actually hitting someone.
Life with a 15 month old is interesting. she is now running and trying to climb everything. She can now get up in the kitchen chairs. when she is ready to eat, she climbs up and looks at me like OK where's my food!. SO stinking cute. she is trying to get on the couchand climb onto the back of it to look out the windows, luckily she is not quite tall enough to get on the couch. She is starting to have very strong opinions about things. she does not want the shoe on the floor, it must go on the coffee table. She is also very good at putting her shoes on. Multiple times I have taken her out at daycare and she has a sock on her hand and her shoe back on her foot. Then she will run around with the sock on her hand for as long as you leave it there. She will take it off and put it back on and thinks it is hilarious.
no fun summer plans. Just playing in the yard and a few trips to see her cousins. Maybe head to the ranch once or twice (it may be too hot though). I cant wait for fall. its only 95 or so here but the humidity is running at 60-70%. its gross.
