Heading in, what are you thinking? This appointment is only with the nurse and involves a blood draw and getting basic information. My old practice didn't draw blood so early so it will be a surprise as to what this is for--the receptionist said it wasn't for pregnancy confirmation.

I had 7 vials of blood taken at my appointment. They checked a number of things, STDs, hemoglobin, thyroid, blood type, etc.

Day of Appointment: 7/2. 3:30p
Weeks+days at appointment: 8w4d
Will you have an ultrasound? Yep! That's the sole purpose of the appointment.
Heading in, what are you thinking? I'm really trying to relax my PgAL brain because I feel like absolute crap, which I'm hoping is a good sign that this one will stick. I'm just hoping there's a baby with a heartbeat...
Weeks+days at appointment: By my previous calculations, 7w2d, but the earliest I could be... 6w5d
Will you have an ultrasound? Yes this is 2nd round of "pregnancy confirmation"
Heading in, what are you thinking? PLEASE be a yolk sac. Actually by this point please have a fetal pole and maybe even a flicker of a heartbeat. I think I'll flip shit if it's another empty gestational sac.

Good luck to everyone with appointments this week!
Day of Appointment: 7/2
Weeks+days at appointment: 8 weeks per LMP
Will you have an ultrasound? Yep, it's part two of my 3 part intake appointment.
Heading in, what are you thinking? Super nervous simply because I've never done this before and don't really know what to expect. Trying to be optimistic and realistic at the same time.
I had my appointment today, and I am still in limbo. At my appointment a week and a half ago, there was a gestational sac but nothing else. The doctor thought she might have seen a hint of a yolk sac, but the equipment they use in-office isn't that great and she couldn't say for sure.
Today, the gestational sac was bigger, measuring more-or-less on target at a bit over 7 weeks, but the fetal pole was measuring only a bit over 6 weeks. There was a heartbeat, but it was slow (~100 bpm). I go back in a week to see if/how things are progressing. The doctor said it could go either way, but that the chance of loss is pretty high.
I'm feeling pretty defeated. If I do miscarry, it will be my third "official" miscarriage (I've also had a cp, which doesn't really count according to my RE) and we will do testing. I have an order for a u/s with radiology (better equipment) if I want it, but I don't know that I should bother.

Quick update on us, we had our ultrasound this morning and it went so well! Blob grew so much! She told me ok, you're 6weeks 1 day based on the measurements from last time, i told her I should be 7 and 3 based on my dates. 2 seconds in she said, well, I guess we'll be going with 7 weeks then! Blob is 1 cm long, has a super visible heartbeat at 166bpm!!!! We even got to hear it. I started laughing uncontrollably. So much relief! I know we aren't out of the woods yet, but things are looking good. My due date is Feb 12 based on my LMP, she said she would say the 14th based on measurements but didn't change it.
I'm hoping the other appointments go well for you ladies! Im on vacation this week but I'll try to pop in for updates.
