Ever since I was a kid I have had to check behind the curtain whenever I go in the bathroom. Now I only shut it when people are coming over! So glad to know I'm not the only one!

Haha, that's why I did the poll. I always thought it was me and then my friend was like OMG ME TOO" I would even open them at other people's houses lol.
Now that I've grown a little I wondered if it was just me again. Glad it's not.
Absolutely worried about the boogieman behind the curtain. Also afraid either MH or I won't remember to put the liner back inside the tub after I move it out of the way when I bathe Tiny. When I was like 12, I took a shower and forgot to keep the liner on the inside of the tub and I flooded the bathroom. Oops.
I've had those floaty, lightweight, fabric hotel shower curtains blow into my wet skin while I've got my eyes shut tight and shampoo all over my head that nearly give me a stroke. Good. Lord. The instant panic!

Lots of IUI's and 3 IVFs later we have a daughter!

TTC #2 IVF #4 and an FET brought us DD #2 on St. Patrick's Day!
I'm not afraid of what is behind the curtain when I'm on the outside of the tub, but as soon as I get in the shower I'm always convinced that a murderer has broken in and will kill me when I have no where to run

Ah, the psycho shower scene. Now that's a fear I can get behind!

Yes. I have days when I peek out of the shower more than once.
Yes, all of the above. And it's even better when your toddler comes in to use the bathroom while you are showering and you don't notice until she says "Mommy!"
Clear shower curtain. It's too dark otherwise. We have glass shower doors though. Part of the shower cleanup is removing the glass doors in the main bath and putting up a curtain. It's too difficult to bathe the kiddo with the doors on.
Can I be a SS? I'm afraid the tension rod won't hold and it will fall on my head (has happened a lot), but not what is behind the curtain.
Lol you can get the ones that have like bracket things that screw into the wall. Or make the tension rod longer so there n is more tension.
Yes I could, but then I would need a step ladder or a tall person to help me. I can get the rod tight enough at a short level, but then it is too long. Since we have glass doors in the master bath, I rarely think about it since DS still takes baths. My current solution is that I just took down the curtain all together since my laziness got the better of me.

I can't stand the stuff that grows on shower curtains.
Yes; this. I am more afraid of the stuff that is growing on them than of someone hiding behind it / coming to kill me while I'm showering. Which makes me glad we have clear shower doors (which are also hard to keep clean, btw).
