swise22 I already talked to my vet but just thought of something. My dog ate some chocolate (I left no bake energy balls sitting in his reach to take care of dd's poopsplosion ) probably it was milk chocolate chips maybe 7 to 10 chips and he's about 17 pounds. If we notice hyperactivity at what point do I worry about it? If he vomits or has diarrhea she said a bland diet but should I just be watching for signs of dehydration?
ZOMG cute babies! Things are crazy at work. I'm gone tomorrow. Off to tehas to visit our friends. Their daughter is two weeks older than DD so we're going to have a lot of fun. I'm pretty excited! DD is always really interested in the babies but my niece who is a month older is always mean mugging her and doesn't really want to play with us. Too bad we're not closer to my bitch apk4
meagpt22 that made me LOL sabby2 That sounds exactly like DD when she's teething. are her gums swollen at all? She was much better when they finally broke through
Of course I had to take a picture before taking her out.
Go to pick up the kids at daycare and they tell me our baby was tugging at his ears and had a low grade fever. We all run to the ped and thank goodness we did because he has an ear infection and they are closed till Monday for the holiday!! So another round of antibiotics and I know we have to go to the ENT because he's had way too many ear infections.
On a side note, he's 21.5 lbs! How heavy are your babies? Our toddler is 30 lb and I feel like our baby is huge lol.
We are in so much trouble. We DO qualify for enough to buy a house, which means we will start looking soon, and then probably face a lot of heartbreak because the market around here is bananas. I'm excited and scared!

Sorry to hear about the ear infection!! Poor babe! On the weight thing, my guy is 17.5 pounds. I am so excited for him to be 18 so I can give him a higher dose of Advil.

Poor babe. Glad you got him in before the long weekend. Our dd has her 9 month tomorrow, but in expecting her to be pushing 20 lbs because when she was 6 1/2 she was already 18+ pounds.

Yay! But I hear you. I've been looking at houses and dreaming for so long that I'm almost sad to get approved and start looking for real. Hopefully you can find something you love!
pinkie, I hope DS feels better. The good thing about ear infections is that the antibiotics usually kick in quickly. Glad you caught it early. My babe is over 20 pounds but I don't know the exact amount. But he's a pudge.

DS has started doing this thing where he arches his back and squirms around while taking the bottle. Anyone else have this? He does these jerks and it's annoying and a little disconcerting...
I just spent an absurd amount of money for fireworks, and I hate fireworks. But I'm really excited to finish making my 4th of July jolly rancher jello shots tonight.
Sounds pretty fun to me! How's your pup??
She actually seems to be doing better! She has her days where she doesn't want to eat much but her overall attitude has perked up and her liver values are slowly improving. So I'll count that as a win!

As long as it was a small amount of milk chocolate you should be perfectly fine. The most common side effect is GI upset. I would only worry if you start to see muscle tremors or extreme agitation. Other than that, a little bit of milk chocolate shouldn't upset him too much.

Glad you were able to get in to the pedi! DS is measuring 19.8 pounds at his 9 month check. He's measuring a little small though.

We get that with nursing, but I've attributed it to good old fashioned distraction. He usually babbles and stares at anything else, even the ceiling. We nurse 8 times a day so it sucks when most sessions he's all over the place. He usually rolls to his tummy, too, and tries to crawl away (which of course he can't.) When it gets extra ridiculous, I sit him up on my lap a minute and talk to him a minute, then he usually goes back to nursing for a few solid minutes after. I try not to act mad. He's leaving a billion things right now and he's easily distracted.
kellrr, yay about getting approved for a house! Don't be scared, this is awesome news!!
pinkie, glad you got him checked out before they closed for the weekend! As for weight, DD is 18 lbs according to our scale, she usually weighs less at the pedi. She was 15 lb 10 oz at her 6 month appt. Her 9 month appt is a week from Monday so we'll see. She's short though so she's extra rolly
