At the doctor's office, sure! That I understand and most ultrasounds doctors perform are medically necessary. The ones I'm talking about you usually have to go to an ultrasound facility (not associated with a doctor's office) and pay out of pocket.
There are such things as an ultrasound facility?
Yup, like a for-profit business. That is where you have to go to find out sex before your A/S typically. Our local one a 2D package is $100ish.
I'm planning on going as late as possible. My midwife said during round one they just monitor to make sure that's ok.
SheilaTheTank, depending on where you are they may suggest natural induction methods around 40 weeks, such as nipple simulation and what not. This was one of the big questions I had for the practice because I didn't want to be forced into an induction at 40 weeks.

The thought of that right now with my burning teats makes me go
I'm picturing the baby turns into a butterfly after 42 weeks, or rips itself from my ute a la Alien style.
By 42 weeks baby starts getting too big and most docs are concerned about the placenta not working as well so they encourage getting the baby out by induction or csection
Don't forget about the poop. The longer the baby stays in the more likely it will poop in there. Not good.

At least one of us is pooping, because it sure isn't me.

Ooh I have another UO. I've never watched (or felt the desire to watch) GoT. And while I'm outing myself as a loser, I may as well admit that I don't like LOTR or Harry Potter. Yup.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I know, I know... I'm fully aware of how uncool this makes me.

Have you read the books? Or just seen the movies? I need to decide how much to dislike you for this.

Haha oh boy... Would it be bad if I said I've done neither? I've watched parts of the movies, but it's just not interesting to me.

entertaining, yes. Obsessed with, no. But I do get into heated arguments about the characters because I have so many UOs about them.

Samesies with GoT!! I have read HP (but haven't seen the movies), but not LoTR (and I have no intentions to).

For me it goes like this: HP: Books so much better than the movies, I actually kinda struggled with the movies at first, bc of how strongly I feel about the books. I like them ok now but the books are just everything. LOTR: Movies over books. I like the books, but these are the greatest movies ever. the end. GOT: TV show = Awesomeness. I gave up halfway through one of the books, I thought it was the last one, but based on some of the GKU GOT thread discussions I don't think it was. I may go back there one day, but the show is enough for me for now.

Nope. Not the last one. Whenever someone mentions GoT, DH rants about how Martin needs to finish the damn book(s) before he dies. His theory is that Martin has written himself into a corner and he doesn't know how to get out of it.

YOU CANT KNOW UNLESS YOU READ AT LEAST ONE WHOLE BOOK! &:@eleventy!!!€£
And by this I mean a Harry Potter book. I also love the HP movies and I do really like the LOTR movies and books. I watch GoT but I'm not as fussed about it and I don't think Martin is a great writer, so I probably won't ever read all the books. They are sofaking long and there's no end in sight either.

Sorry, I meant the last one published, not the last one. That is my other issue, an unfinished series is so hard to handle in a book.
