About to make myself get up and go to the grocery store. I'm having a mani/pedi and a 30 minute massage where I'm going to ask them to work on just my neck and head and shoulders with these headaches I've been getting. I can't wait.

That sounds divine, not the grocery store part, but everything else. Is it a sitting massage or a laying down one? Do you tell them your pregnant. I have a credit for a massage, but I wasn't sure what the deal is with getting one first Tri.

My doctor has said massage in the first tri is fine. I go every two weeks for my neck. However, just a word of caution, my M/S is really bad, and some of the oils made me really iffy this week. If smells are a trigger for you, just ask for unperfumed lotion. That's what I need to start doing again I think.
I'm so bored right now. My husband worked a special detail last night at got home at 3am, so he's still sleeping. Bird is making up a ballet in his room and I'm "NOT APPOSED TO SEE IT YET GO AWAY MOMMY!" I should figure out a menu for the week, but food makes me sick. If I can't eat it, I'm not killing myself over dinner. The boys can have chicken and mashed potatoes. Every day.
We have an 8 year-old's birthday next week and I had no idea what to get him so I got him a robot per Amazon's suggestion. I hope 8 year-olds like robots. Another suggestion Amazon had was a metal flask that said something like "Live Until You Die" which I thought would be slightly less appropriate.

I was going to tell them I'm pregnant. Everything I've heard is that massages are fine in first tri as long as it's not an abdomen massage. It's more for the risk to the massage place that they don't want to be liable. This is from SIL who is a doctor. I'm just having them stick to the neck and shoulders though.

jewel441 ily for the Bobs Burgers GIF first thing this morning! miggg totally should have went with the flask! Haha No, I think a robot is pretty awesome at 8 YO
I'm waiting on DD to wake up, which is both unusual and glorious. My head is feeling less explosive today, so I'm going to make a menu for the week and head to the grocery store. Probably stop at the park at some point today.

I'm in the bathroom getting ready and DD comes in with a waffle she's been carrying around all morning. She wants to set it on the toilet. I tell her no. She goes crying to her dad and all I hear from him is "Do you like toilet waffle?" It cracked me up.

So tired all the time, but I need to power through. I'm taking DS1 to the movies to see Inside Out today and probably Coldstone or Rita's afterwards. Going on a date!

Kids are awesome!
I'm also in the "grocery store/menu planning" camp. Anyone have any ideas for something different to do with ground beef? I've got a bunch in the freezer.

Google Korean beef, its basically soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, green onions, and maybe red pepper. You basically brown the beef and add the sauce, and serve with rice/quinoa + veggies. You can use maple syrup or honey or molasses if you don't do sugar. Coconut aminos if you don't do soy. Super fast, easy and yummy.
Or there's always spaghetti or burgers.
I guess I probably need to remove the super glue from my behind and get off the couch and shower, clean, menu plan/grocery shop. The fatigue is real. Two days ago I felt pretty normal, last night my body figured out it has a new tenant I suppose.

Bring ALL the tissues. We saw it last week. I started crying during the short before the movie. And stopped sometime around Thursday.

+1 It is an extremely emotional movie. Add pregnancy hormones and you've got a blubbering mess.
ETA: I didn't mean to be punny with "emotional movie", it just happened.

My boys love my pasta burgers. I mix crushed tomatoes, parmesan, and Italian seasonings into the meat. Then throw together a quick angel hair pesto (only about half a pound). Then I twirl the pasta into birds nests and put the ground beef around it. Bake the patties, then serve open-faced on garlic bread with marinara over top.

That sounds amazing! And original. My hubby isn't a big fan of spaghetti but if it's a burger he'd probably eat it, especially if pesto is involved.
How long do you bake the patties? And how big are they? Like do you divide a pound of meat into fourths?

I make very thin patties to go on either side, so it's 1/3 pound total for each one. I forgot to mention I pan sear them first. I usually bake them at 375 for 15 minutes. Think more meatballs than burgers, cooking wise.
I'll have to post a recipe when I don't have a toddler climbing on my lap demanding Pinterest.
OrganicRosemary Plus 1 on the yucky nausea. I almost feel like puking would be better because then it would be done, although I am sure that isn't true
We went to church and now H is in the grocery store getting stuff for biscuits and gravy! I am going to get him to stop at Starbucks so I can get a chai....I am curious if those strong spices will help w the nausea The weather is yucky so we may hang out at home the rest of the day!
Holy eff this is hard! These 2 little blueberries made themselves known Friday afternoon and I have been in ROUGH shape ever since.
I made it to the grocery store yesterday (and didn't puke!). I stocked up on all the stuff the nutritionist recommended. But I can't stomach much of anything. I'm sticking with saltines, bagels, and Mac n cheese.
Not sure how I will survive the workweek.
Our big plan today is to get some new pillows. I showered and then laid back down on the bed - not off to a good start!

Ha! No rush. My toddler just brought me my shoes so I guess we're off to the park and grocery store. I think we're having spaghetti burgers for dinner tonight!

1. I am pretty convinced that kids movies are far better than adult movies anymore. "Inside Out" was a great movie!! I didn't cry, but I saw it the day it came out. I'm pretty sure the result would be different today.
2. I really haven't been super nauseous. I thought I was doing pretty good. But I was wrong. Smells. So many smells. Yuck!! I've managed to only run to the bathroom a few times though.
3. FFSC: H is gone for a week starting today. I've decided that my "menu" is probably going to consist of spaghetti, spaghetti leftovers, spaghetti leftovers, and maybe hot dogs. I give no fucks.

They're really great because you can play around with them and make them your own with different pastas and sauces.
I'm trying to clean out our freezer so that I can defrost and clean it before our cow comes in. So tonight will be pulled pork empanadas, sweet potato fries, and soup.
ironmom I didn't know they did maternity that's cool! I might have to look into that!
We just went to 2 super markets. At the first one the smell was so awful, I told H that we had to hurry up, to which he said it wasn't that bad. So I told him, "you're not smelling for 2." We both cracked up at that. I am so tired again today. Yesterday, I just figured it was because I slept so badly, but I slept really well last night, so maybe it's beginning. We went out for a few hours and I feel like I ran a marathon. Lol
