I had my intake with the nurse today, and then I ended up with an ultrasound today too Baby measuring right on track with a heartbeat of 168. Sticking with due date from last week of 2/17. Deep breaths.
Had a great appointment with ultrasound. My dr. Was super positive about the delivery of this baby, which was good to hear. We decided on a due date of 2/9.
My apt got postponed until next week...we already heard a hb at 7+3 , but I'm irrationally worried that something has happened in the meantime. Stupid PgAL brain.

Hi Ladies,
Had my appt with the NP this morning. Went well. She just did an exam and told me my uterus feels the right size for the number of weeks, so that was encouraging. I was all set to ask for a sanity ultrasound, but my husband had a long talk with me about hope and faith and not getting overly worked up and how he thought we should just wait it out. The nurse was very kind about my weepiness and basically let me know that once I am a little further along and the Doppler can be reliable I can come in if I feel panicky just for a hearbeat check. She didn't offer an additional ultrasound, and I didn't ask. Although it is so hard for me, I am really trying not to let my PGAL brain win. I want to believe I am having a normal, healthy pregnancy and need no additional monitoring. So, I guess I will do my best to wait until my 12-week and try not to stress.
followthesun, the waiting is the worst! Glad your appointment went well. Do you have the date of your next appointment?
Yes, August 10th. It is my first-tri screening with the NT scan and bloodwork. Also the appointment where we found out about our loss last time, so this is going to be a long few weeks. I'm practicing my deep breathing and appreciate any calming vibes you all have to spare.

I'm thinking about you! If there is a show you have been meaning to netflix binge, this is probably the time.

Thanks, rivers and roads! And swivelchair5, my husband and I are going to start Ray Donovan, so that should keep me occupied. Not to mention, we are moving into a new home and have lots of house stuff to use as a distraction.
Appt went well! There is a baby with a heart beat! Unfortunately my uterus is high and tilted AND the kid attached itself high do I actually had to push down on my belly while the doc pushed the dildo can up to get any pictures lol and ouch.
I go back in two weeks so they can get a good measurement on the heartbeat. We saw it and heard it but the positioning made it impossible to get a recording. Oh and they are now putting my due date as 2/29
followthesun It's so hard, but sometimes we need to believe in that (that we are having healthy normal pregnancies). PGAL brain is mean. But our past does not dictate our future. And if care providers are confident, we need to try to be too. So much easier said than done... But we can try! And heartbeat checks sound awesome That will be a nice reassurance! ((Hugs)) lady. Eta some clarity. I think I still failed. Words are hard.
An update on me: I got back from my beach vacation last night and had my 10 week appointment to check the heartbeat this morning. I thought the doctor was going to use doppler and that we'd be able to hear the heartbeat, but he said it was too early. So instead, they did a quick over the belly sonogram to check things. They said everything's still on track and the baby has a bpm of 172. They even put me ahead again at 10w5d instead of the 10w1d I thought I was, which I find to be confusing (oh well?).
Anyway, I'm just happy to hear everything's OK. PGAL brain is a fucking bitch.
Here's my little baby (nicknamed Speck). I swear I saw her/him waving a little arm
