Would anyone else be pissed if their dh was just gone for a week and just now dropped the bomb that the Bachelor party he's going to he is staying over night but never even asked if that was okay?
If he's been gone for a week and just told you about another overnight thing then I would be pissed. Otherwise, if it was just the bachelor party I wouldn't care.
He told me about the bachelor party but failed to mention that he was going to be gone over night. Apparently it didn't even cross his mind to see of being gone over night again was okay with me. I don't care about the party but it would be nice for him to even consider my feelings too. He had an hour massage this week too..
He's always telling me to take time to treat myself but I hardly have time to do it. He got me a gift card for a spa day but who wants to take a pump to a spa day. Not me..
Wat! Is mrsbabe614's the oldest bebe on here? Mine is one of the youngest, so I tend to just be like "ah, all those older baby problems don't apply to me."
I know WWF has an older guy too. And TOJ was the first to pop, early September I think.
I'm with you on the young side! It's nice seeing what's coming, but then again I'm jealous of all the new things. Grass is always greener, eh?
MrsTinMKE It's so cool how supportive you are of your friend. I'm sure that will mean the world to her.
mrsbabe614 and theotherjacobsons DDs are the same age. lrobi13 has an older baby too. I think DS is the youngest of the September babies on this board.
Also hi. I'm leaving for my reunion tomorrow and won't be around (and spent all day today packing and doing laundry). Have a good weekend, ladies
I'm trying to get the kid to go down for the night. I told DH that he should wait up so that we could hang out and that if he did that desert and sex would happen. Hopefully that's enticing enough to keep him up past 10pm for once! We'll see...
Hey quiet ladies! I was starving so I stopped by the snack cart to buy some fruit snacks. Apparently you can't use your credit card for any purchases under $1. So I haaaaaddd to buy a s'mores bar too. Damn!
I haven't seen those s'mores things before. But I'm pretty sure I'll be making a run to the store tomorrow to look for them.

I might be pissed but really do you want him coming home drunk from the party anyway?
I had a friend message me from out of the blue. She had like fallen off the face of the Earth for a little while; blew off my baby shower, and continuously bailed on me. We haven't really talked since Thanksgiving.
Anyways.... she told me she got into some bad stuff, started drinking heavy...got into pain killers and then started doing crack and eventually tried to commit suicide. She has 4 kids and the youngest just turned 4. This makes me so sad. I don't even know how to respond to her She is clean and sober now, but oh man. I just can't imagine how that even happened.
This is so sad. Like the other notches said, be there for her and let her know she has a friend in you. I'm so sorry that she's going through this. Hopefully she really can be in a better place now.

Yup. I think you're totally justified in being mad.

I think K might be a day younger than Q. She is Sept 29th.

sabby2 I'd probably be annoyed at that too. I might try to be cool about depending on how helpful H was being at the moment but would have some level of annoyance deep down.

Yep. That is a hell to the no. Even if he hadn't been gone for a week!

I had a meeting tonight for a charity board I chair. One of the other gals on the board has an a-freaking-dorable girl who is 11 months. DS is doing a lot of the same things she is, or really close (feeding herself chunks, she's walking but he's still just pulling up, she makes some of the same faces and mannerisms). It's so cute to see other babies just a little ahead of him. At story time, babes are the same age or like 6 months older. And it was a potluck with beer! Great way to spend the evening if I had to be away from DS.
jeniece47 sorry she was a stinker for pictures but she is so darn cute! Some of my favorite pics of DS end up being ones where he was a little serious.

Thank you! Our photographer said she got some cute ones. I will AW some when they are done.
