They let me go home My urine was clean, but bp only came down a little. Baby looks great, is head down, and was really active, so that's good. The bad thing is my platelets are low,so my OB is concerned about HELLP. Doing a 24 urine catch, then following up with MFM and OB on Monday.
OB only figures we'd be looking at a one week NICU stay right now. But I'd have to deliver at a different hospital, about 45 minutes away, or baby and I would be seperated. I do not want to be apart from her.
I'm supposed to get lots of rest this weekend, which I'm perfectly ok with. Just going to finish up the nursery and make sure we have everything we need in case we have to deliver soon. FX baby girl gets to cook a little longer.
Welcome to the pee in a jug club nimfalen. It's a pretty awesome club, and there are some super cool people here. Seriously though FX.

Nesting has fully kicked in. I'm itching to scrub the walls with a bucket of suds made from Murphy's Oil Soap.
MH is on a roll-- he skipped the free concert and beer and brought home General Tso's (I blame you, elizabethnevadap) and fries rice from my favorite Chinese place. I'm fat and happy in bed, reading book 1 of the Wayward Pines series on my Kindle. And there was nooky. Seasons, people-- it's all about the different seasons of a relationship.
Thinking of all you lovely mamas having contractions and who are in and out of L&D!

Proud club member. Dd decided to completely dump one of my urine samples this morning before I was able to get it into the jug. Pee was everywhere. Now I get to sleep on the couch cause going up and down the stairs 8 times tonight to put my jug in the fridge after peeing is definitely not happening. I hope all our jugs have good results.

Hahaha! You poor thing! Stairs involved does not sound fun at all, and neither does cleaning up your own urine. I survived peeing into a jug at work today. My coworkers were pretty cool about it. We DO work in a veterinary clinic and are generally covered in dog urine, feces, vomit, etc. It's just that human excrement is so much different!

I just watched the newest episode of Wayward Pines on Hulu. I must read the books because I can't get any more for (hopefully only) a week. Jealous of the nooky and the General Tso's. I watched the documentary and didn't fulfill the craving; it was like watching porn and not, well, you know.

I couldn't imagine having to do this at work, I was lucky to be off today. The cleaning up wasn't the issue, after your have a toddler most body fluids have covered you or something near you many times. Lol.
+1 2 minutes of burpees, okay. Wednesday did 100 (broken up) of hanging knees-to-elbows with my arms in straps, no problem. Walking on treadmill at 2.5 = death.
Agree completely. Power cleans, yes. Burpees, a bit uncomfortable but yes. Rowing and biking... fine. Walking to my car... doubled over in a giant contraction.
I am back in l/d to drop off my buckets of urine and to be monitored for awhile. Had decreased fetal movement today, but of course he became active the moment they hooked me up. Little stinker just wants to scare me. Hoping for normal blood and urine results!
Baby boy does this too. I was monitored at my docs appt the other day because of decreased movement and all of a sudden he's up and at em! What's amazing is, we've done this a couple times now and it is astounding how he manages to kick the paddle of the monitor square on. Over and over again. DH thinks we might have a punter on our hands.
I just looked at the sleep stats on my Fitbit. Depressing.
Three weeks ago(34 weeks pregnant): 6 hours 55 min average sleep per night Two weeks ago: 5 hours 47 min average One week ago: 5 hours 9 min average This week (37 weeks pregnant): 3 hours 25 min average

Lol! This is me too. He finds them and kicks them so hard they have flipped over. Too funny. I'm not sure if the babies love it or hate it? The nurses think it's funny but they have to come in and adjust every 5 minutes.
RE Working out, to those who have been doing squats, can you give me any advice to get started? When do you start doing them? Anything I need to keep in mind? I did squats regularly before getting pregnant, but that's been a good 8 months ago...
Keep one hand on something solid for balance, we have a lot of relaxin going through our joints now so falls are really easy. Keep your knees over your toes, it may help to turn your hips out a bit since your belly is probably in the way. Keep your chest up, and when you rise, make sure the brunt of your weight is on the outside of your feet. I wouldn't squat past parallel (thighs parallel to the floor) right now either, unless your balance is good.
I told myself I'd do 10 squats every time I peed. Lol. I crack myself up.
elizabethnevadap, I wanna go! I'm trying to find a box here and all the ones I want to go to are on the other side of town, which means I'd be fighting rush hour every day to go since I'd have to wait til DH comes home from work to go. None of them are baby friendly.
To add to this use an exercise ball between your back and a wall and roll down the wall. It's much easier on your joints and has helped me actually do the squats rather than just say I'm going to and then sit on my couch.
what the hell is "feel real"? Is that like that heat index bullshit? Because that's what it is . . . Bullshit! Invented by The Weather Channel to make us all feel better about our collective whining about the heat.
I am not an old crank. Also, the kids are skateboarding on my lawn again!
