Oops. I made the mistake of checking PB during a conference call... And got asked a question ... I didn't hear it. Someone else piped up and partially answered it and that gave me enough to BS the rest.
I want mimosas... We were in the emergency room last night... Coop has Croup and the breathing noises were awful. So they gave him some steroids and we wait it out. He's mostly just sleeping so far today so hoping to get a bit of work done from home.
I think I'm gonna pick and entire box of Mac and cheese made with half and half as my coping mechanism. (We have no milk...)
pinkie, sorry your little guy is still so worked up over his boo boo! I find his dramatic reaction is equal parts sad and adorable but for your sake I hope he gets over it soon. I think you have a great attitude about the whole thing, BTW.
happyin14, love tit for extra rich mac n cheese. Hope LO feels better soon!

Oh no poor baby and you deserve all the Mac and Cheese.
Help! I need suggestions for more finger foods for DD. She is absolutely fed up with purées and won't eat solids anymore unless she can feed herself. Giving her the spoon just leads to a huge mess. She's pretty much refusing anything but puffs and cheerios. We give her mixed veggies (peas, carrots & corn) but she mostly just plays with them. She did eat some of my sausage at breakfast yesterday but she isn't wild about eggs. Any suggestions?

I have given DD quite a bit off of my plate. She has had frozen waffles (for teething), Chicken breast Deli meat, stuffed shells, toast, scrambled eggs, sweet potatoes. Large pieces of steam broccoli What ever I can give her off of my plate I try to.

I've ALSO noticed she only wants to eat off my plate so I put her food on my plate and we share
They are very soft shoes and IMO they are not necessary. I was going to get them just to keep him from scraping his feet on the playground but was told I prob should just go for the early walker shoes that are a little more sturdy.
We didn't buy shoes for our toddler until a year but he was very non-adventurous. Our baby is trying to climb on the daycare playground and already has scrapes.

A lot of the same foods as MrsTinMKE and also pea-size pieces of watermelon, cherries, strawberries (a big fave,) peaches, apricot, cooked carrots, chicken, pulled pork, smooshed black beans (I literally smash between my fingers then put on his tray).

We put everything on the tray and let him go to town. No spoon, just fingers. About half gets into him and half falls.
He likes steamed veggies, small pieces of meat, pita with hummus, he eats pizza (prob not the best but w/e), loves Cheerios, bananas, blueberries (cut in half), small pieces of grilled cheese sandwich, he eats small pieces of our toddlers chicken nuggets. Whatever we are eating, we give him small bits. Our go to though are the steamed (in microwave) frozen veggies. He's crazy for peas and carrots. I would keep trying veggies and fruits

I've noticed this too but our meals haven't been especially healthy lately so I've been reluctant to give her much off of my plate. I guess this is our motivation to stop eating junk.

I think I may try the waffles on her. She tried my french toast yesterday and seemed to like it. We tried broccoli and it didn't go over well but the deli meat might be good. Thanks!

So far my kid is not a fan of fruit, I try to feed it to her and she just plays with it mostly. We're actually having pulled pork tonight though so I'll give that a try. It's frustrating, she was being so good about eating and now she's being such a stinker about it.

Veggies have been our go to too, and recently we've started adding rice. I just worry that she's getting bored with it, we're lucky if she eats half. I really want to give her more variety.
Does anyone do pasta? If so, with or without sauce? We let her try rigatoni last week with meat sauce but it was fairly dry.
this customer that regularly says weird creepy things to me just said when I say sure it sounds sexy. What the actual fuck
That's so awkward. I hate it when customers say stuff like that! Like what kind of a response do they expect?? Damn creepers!
That is so creepy. I think they expect you to say "that makes me want to make love to you right now." I had a grocery checker that was really into me for like 5 years in high school/early college and I finally went on a date with him and his head about exploded. Then it was even more awkward at the grocery store.

We do pasta for DS. I've done both with and without sauce. I feel like without sauce was easier for him to pick up. DS is also a huge fan of tofu. It's super soft so it just mushes in his mouth and he devours it. It's also really high in iron which is good for them (at least my DS that needs it).

That's so scary. Hopefully little guy kicks it fast.
