I should not have given SD her Valentines already. She's spent all morning asking me if she can do them RIGHT NOW. We don't even have the current class list since a couple kids came at semester. Just hakuna your tatas, child.
I know Larry happened. Please do not try to convince me otherwise. Please don't talk to me about coffee. I don't drink it. I don't caffeine. When I state my opinion, that is me chiming in on a topic. This is not me saying you suck at life if you do or feel differently. If I want to say that, I will. If I want to speak on you, I will.
Grocery shopping done. I also found a KING CAKE!!!! Squee! Wiped fridge down Unpacked groceries Popped open a Cayman jAck margarita. I've convinced myself it's healthy since they sell it at Whole Foods. I am popping a pork loin in the oven and staring finner as well!!!! Drinks for me.

Also, I wish I could train myself to be more of an early riser. MH is a total night owl and I am not but I still have a hard time waking up in the morning. DS on the other hand loves both to sleep and to wake up at radically early times.
I still don't get up well. Not a morning person still.

I napped for two hours, woke up when DS1 was going down for his nap. So, I'm eating chocolate cake and watching Friends while the baby bounces around in his jumper.
Thursday, MH couldn't help but point out B was an angel at breakfast for him immediately after i told him she was pretty awful in the evening for me.
I just took a bath and she was a monster for him. I know it's passive aggressive, but I'm glad he's getting to see what I deal with sometimes.
Oh, I hear that!
DH always tells me that 'the kids aren't like that around me' after we've had a particularly dreadful time together. I can believe that they (the kids) save their worst for me, but his diminishing their behaviour with him one-on-one bites him in the ass from time to time.

I need to do a big grocery shop but I need babysitting for other things so I did part of the list at not our regular store. So refreshing. Milk a few days from expiry is 50% off... the same jug with the same date I'd have to pay full price at the regular store. Big difference when forking over 7 bucks a half gallon.

We watched Captain America: Winter Soldier last night and now I'm madly in love with Sebastian Stan. Sorry DH.
I keep googling pictures of him between cleaning rooms. But I better stop to go try out this Amish secret wood cleaner stuff. I guess I'm a sucker for all things seen on TV.
H bought the original star wars box set. So we are watching the first one (each I guess is #4) in a little bit.
I bought a Star Wars box set in the 90s to satisfy my nerdsession with them. It's on VHS. Greedo shoots first.
I am oddly smug about having it and occasionally will lord it over my nerd squad.
I haven't watched it in ages as we don't have a VHS player in the house anymore. :/
My husband has the original tapes and his DVDs include the original versions that are unedited/remastered. He didn't even know that until I pointed it out! But he always forgets and then spends the whole time pointing out what's wrong and what's been added.
I'm so jealous of you guys that can have fun days with your toddlers. Nowadays when we go to target it ends with me dragging him along while he tries to run away from me, laughing and tearing shit off the shelves. I can't imagine taking him to a restaurant.
Don't worry, @littlestjerry. Our day ended in disaster when both girls had a melt down at Old Navy over the fact that the shirts they tried on didn't fit. I think being tired contributed, but still why must they drive me crazy.

MH and I will actually pick places to eat based on the quality of the fried pickles. We are eating at chilis tonight for the first time ever just to try theirs.

I go to Chilis because of the two for one wine during happy hour and the kick ass kids' menu

@littlestjerry, DS1 definitely goes through waves of being very easy to take places and a complete terror.
Right now at 2.5 he's been much more fun to take out. A few months ago I hated even going to the grocery store. He would melt down over everything. He would scream in the cart, but not want to walk. He wouldn't want to go in the store, but then would scream when we would leave.
Right now he's being cooperative about things but I know he will probably turn back into a melty mess soon. Toddlers, man.
