Alright -- since I'm at work full time, I'm mostly pumping. I'm a little worried that after DS's weigh in next week, we may have to switch to bottles all the time. This bums me out for two reasons -- 1. All the work I've put into bf, and 2. I like bf for both the bonding with DS and the ease of not packing bottles all the time.
Eta ... I don't want to jinx it, but I think angry boob is gone!
This is great news about angry boob! What will his name be now?
I don't know if you had started posting at the time when this was my FFFC. My husband scooped litter for 2 of my pregnancies because he thought I was unable to when in fact I was ok to scoop. I had a titer done in my first pregnancy since I worked with cats, I didn't tell him for DD1 or DD2 that I was able to scoop. If I had known DS was going to come along I would have kept my mouth shut.
Actually, they tested me for whatever it is when I told them I had cats. When it came back negative, I just thought that meant it was negative at that time, and to continue not doing it. I probably could have done it now that you say that. Oh welllll.
Yeah you're good once you have the antibodies for toxo you are immune to it. I never had cats growing up but I had an outdoor sandbox... That wasn't covered, so I'm sure all the stray cats used it as a shit box and I tossed the turds out thinking they were rocks..

The boob formerly known as angry boob? Like Prince?
Guise this daycare stuff make me want to quit my job and stay home with DS. Even though I love work. I never wanted him to go to daycare in the first place. At least not until he could talk so he could tell me about things.
Are you still waiting to hear from the director?
Yeah. I'm taking work off tomorrow and I've emailed her asking to meet ASAP since I haven't heard anything.
My husband hasn't figured out that I can actually scoop litter now that I'm not pregnant. I just never offer and he keeps doing it.

Hmm. I didn't know it was okay to change the liter if you tested negative! My OB never gave me a test for it though.
Pumping lady's-- what shirts are you wearing to work? I've been wearing button downs, but most of my pre-pregnancy ones are too tight in the boobs, especially by pumping time (which is definitely not okay when working with teenagers). I need recommendations on shirts that are easy to pump in, cheap, and professional looking.
Check old navy I was able to get cheap button downs and also flowy shirts with tank tops in the bottom so I just pull them up and pump
I'm a middle school teacher and had the same issue with all of my tops being uncomfortably tight now that I'm BF. I got a few flowy shirts at Old Navy too and they're totally doing the trick.
Good news - already got a call that we have an early dismissal tomorrow cause of this crazy snow we're supposed to get! I'm mostly excited because that means I don't have to pack a lunch.
Also, I promised to try harder but you ladies are too fast with these randoms! I can't keep up!
5:15 -- probably should start getting things together for daycare tomorrow and finish the laundry, but I have a sleeping baby on my lap and a drink ...

My OB said I was fine to scoop, at some point I played with random cat shit in my outside sandbox as a kid and that was most likely the source. Also my cats aren't too much at risk for toxo because they are indoors. Outdoor cats are a bigger risk for it.

Mostly tank tops and cardigans/jackets. My wardrobe is really boring, anyways. I lean towards layers and not separates so, I basically have a closet full of tank tops.

You have enough clean clothes. Just relax.
Baby slept for an hour and a half and let me put him in his bouncy chair for half of it. Got bottles ready, folded a load of clothes bc I definitely didn't have enough clean clothes that fit/are work appropriate. But now I feel like I can relax...
My rainbow arrived 10/15/14.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs.
TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
I feel like I hit achievement level 99 tonight! DD is somehow sleeping in the crib for the first time. Its been an hour and a half, praying she sleeps well! Made a baked ham for dinner, went grocery shopping, gave baby a bath, made an awesome veggie breakfast bake for the week all in like 4 hours. I am now relaxing with wine. I need this energy every day!!
