I almost spilled the beans to my mom yesterday. They had a crib because we were staying there for a few weeks and DD wasn't in a normal bed then, well we left and transitioned her and my nephew recently transitioned so she was like "we posted that crib on Craigslist, dad took it apart already" and I was almost like "but I'm going to need it soon!" I remembered though that the little one will sleep in a bassinet so I'll just have to get a cosleeper or something.I'm excited, but the timing of this baby is so bad. Like so bad. We're supposed to move in the beginning of March but I won't be allowed to go with DH because I'll be too pregnant so I have to move to my parents' to have the baby and do 6 weeks post birth there before going to DH with a 6 week old and DD. Sigh. My head spins every time I really start thinking about the timing.
I feel you on the bad timing thing. My husband and I live 8 hours away from our entire families. We decided we want to finally move back to our hometown. He has had a terrible time finding a job back home but we both wanted to try for a second. In a perfect world, he would get a job offer and I would find out I was pregnant and everything would be fine. Now that I am pregnant, we are feeling the pressure of trying to get back home. Obviously after a certain point I can't move. We are praying that his most recent job lead works out. I really want to surprise our parents with we're moving home and baby news.
That would be a really fun surprise if you could announce both together!
