Concerning registry completion coupons, I have a couple of questions.

1. Do you only get to use the discount once? I saw (and used) my 10% amazon discount on a purchase recently and haven't seen the discount link again since. I figured it would stay there for me to make multiple purchases and didn't think it would be a one time use.

2. When should I expect my completion discount from BRU? My due date is March 7 and I have yet to see anything about one.

I slept like crap last night and I'm so tired today. I swear it took me 15 minutes to get dressed. Most of that time was spent sitting in my closet staring at my swollen feet and dreading putting on my socks and shoes. Tonight we have our Infant CPR class that is 3 hours long. I don't know how I'm going to stay awake for it.

It's supposed to be 70 here today. I might need to move my bed rest outside for awhile today and get some vitamin D therapy.

I have a follow up today after my L&D visits this weekend. The doctor on call this weekend seemed really unsure of what to do with me so I'll be glad to talk to my own doctor. I'm getting so close to be in a much safer zone so I'm ready for the next couple of weeks to fly by.

Hello, ladies!

I was in AZ for my shower on a whirlwind trip. It was a nice trip but I came home to all of the garbage and recycling still sitting on the floor by the door and all the boxes from the stroller, car seat and pack and play (so, really big boxes) still sitting in the living room. And empty toilet paper rolls on the holder and new rolls on the tub. HUSBAND!!! Y U TURN INTO TEENAGE BACHELOR WHEN I LEAVE?!!!?

I forgot a big thing that happened at my shower Saturday. We were getting ready to play a game and a cop came up to the door. everyone was joking that that was the only time they had been to a shower and a cop came to the door that wasn't a stripper.

The town i had my shower in the cops are a huge PITA. He came up because there were 2 cars facing the wrong direction parked on the road. They were on the side going up but facing down.

The weather is supposed to be gorgeous here today, 73 degrees. Yes, that's right, after getting 6+ in of snow last week. Our weather is schizophrenic. It always has been. Keeps you on your toes!

I got my BRU coupon at the beginning of January and the online and in store are one time use each. I haven't received my Target one yet.

I have a WWYD: I'm pretty certain I lost at least some of my mucous plug on Friday, when I was 34.4. Dr Google tells me to call if you lose it before 36w. I'm not concerned, but should I let them know about this? My next appointment isn't until next Tuesday.

I've had comments removed from TB and have received no notifications. I was hanging on over there posting whatever I wanted, but I think I may be through. Meh. Just glancing at some of the thread titles on M15 is annoying me.

So! We got me a "new" car this weekend! I'm so excited, although I cried a little when I had to leave my Escape at the dealership because ya know, trade-in. Anyway, we got a 2011 Acadia and it's so fucking spacious I don't even know what to do with myself. We had to drive about an hour yesterday with the kid and after I'd loaded all the stuff in the new car I realized it didn't even seem full where as my Escape would have been bursting. Plus I feel safer in a bigger car just because bigger. I'd drive a tank down the road to protect my kid if I was allowed. I'm taking it back to the dealership today to get it detailed cleaned and they're giving us 4 new tires! Yay!

IDK about Amazon. But I'm pretty sure the completion discount from BRU comes 4-6 weeks ahead of the EDD. The 10% gift card that you get based on how much was spent on your registry comes 10 weeks after your EDD.

AFM, I've discovered something that maybe a bit of a problem with staying at the in-laws for the next few months. Their dog barks at all hours of the night. Last night she barked at 1, 3:30, 4, and 5 at which point I gave up. She gets my dogs all riled up and they have to run to see what she's barking about. Come March between a newborn and a barking dog I'm never gonna sleep.

DH does the same thing with toilet paper.  You can go to the closest and get a new roll, but are unable to slide it onto the holder and toss the old in the garbage?  You have already done the hard part!  You don't even have to stand up to do the last part.  I just don't get it.

This snow is ridiculous. I was supposed to have a meeting in the office this morning so I got myself and DS up early and in the car. As we're driving and sliding everywhere, my boss calls to say he's working from home today and not to worry about coming in (as in work from home). Great, but I still have to drop DS off at daycare. It took me 45-50 minutes to get to daycare. WTF. It's normally a 10 minute drive. I hate winter.

Guise, don't do things like call attention to the fact that this is the last Monday of January. Fuckkk!! So much to do, so not ready!

So, I thought I did well facing the storm crowds and getting all the groceries and such yesterday when lo and behold, we need toilet paper and cat food, so E and I will have to brave the storm preppers at Target...wish us luck!

Beyond that, I'm looking forward to the snow. We haven't had just about any this year. Also, as I said yesterday, I'm selfishly excited to have K home tomorrow.
