So I woke up to do my usual 1am pee last night and there was a fair amount of blood when I wiped. It didn't really progress much from there although I felt mildly crampy all night. I know full well all of this can be normal, but my PGAL brain is totally fried. I want to call my doctor to see if they can see me early, but I don't want to be an asshole. Please tell me if it is reasonable to ask to be seen. I just can't use my brain for logic right now.
Update- just got back from the OB. Not great news. The ultrasound found a sac. It is small and empty and by now it shouldn't be. They weren't saying a 100% that I was misscarrying, but said it's pretty likely. I have an appointment on the 9th to look again... Either for growth or that I have passed all the tissue. I don't want to say goodbye yet, as I want to hold onto a little hope, but I probably won't be around much until this resolves. Thanks again for all you support.
At the very least they can at least talk you down over the phone, this is what my doc has done for me. I've had the same thing happen with the blood, about two weeks ago and then again a week ago. Got 3 HcG draws and they are looking good so far.
I would totally call and see if they can see you early. I wouldn't even think twice about it. I really think your brain is being logical, its scary. Seeing or at the very least talking to the doc will make you feel better. I hope they can see you today!

Absolutely call right away and talk to your OB...and if you need to for peace of mind, go in! It's scary and don't hesitate if it's what YOU need. Lots of hugs!
I agree with previous posters - definitely call! That's what your doctor is there for. Never be afraid to call if something is worrying you. I hope they can put your mind at ease and that it's nothing to worry about. I read in Mayo Clinic's Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy that as many as 25% of pregnant women experience some spotting.
Thanks guys. Really can't tell you how much I appreciate your words. I have an appointment at 10:30. I am trying to be optimistic but it's not working real well. Will let you know how it goes.
so glad you got an appt! I would have def. called in your shoes (and I did). I also had some red blood a few weeks ago and baby was fine. t's and p's for a great appt. today!
