What do you wear with ballet flats?

I mostly wear my various harry potter socks from hot topic that DH got me for christmas. They're just thin ankle socks.

I like this brand. I've had no problems with them slipping.

I have something similar to these, but the are sheer, pantyhose type material. Got them at Walmart.

In the winter, I just suck it up and wear plain or sheer socks. I don't love the way it looks, but my feet get sweaty and cold and it's highly unpleasant. TBH, I usually just wear boots all winter until I can start going sockless when the weather is warmer.

Sometimes mine do too, but it doesn't make my shoes smell.  I have to trade off if it's worse so have slightly sweaty trouser socks all day, or shoes that smell awful.

This, too.  I rarely wear ballet flats in winter because I don't see the point in suffering.  Cute boots/booties FTW  (or bean boots and uggs if I'm really being honest)

I wear black pants most often and black socks and black shoes.  But, if your socks, shoes, and pants aren't the same color...Then I would go for those ITSY BITSY like barely cover the toe socks and the flats if you must have socks.

I've found the cheaper ones I have (from Kohls, Target, etc) do slip but the SmartWool ones tend to stay put much better.

If it's too cold for sockless, then I wear boots/ booties/ a closed up shoe.
