So I havent been around the past few days, and figured I'd update everyone.
Friday, all day, I felt really cruddy. I had a chik-fil-a sandwich that sat okay, but otherwise, I struggled to drink and felt just blah. Friday night started the Purge.
Literally, from Friday night to Monday morning, I could not eat or drink anything without violently throwing up. I lost 6 pounds between Saturday morning and Monday morning. I could barely shower.
I got an urgent OB visit yesterday morning. We went in and immediately had an U/S, which showed a PERFECTLY CONTENT GUMMY BEAR floating around like "what? you're sick? sorry?" They gave me a Zofran in the office and decided to hook me up to an IV for fluids. Except I was so dehydrated, they blew it on the first try on my hand. Fortunately, it went in my right hand, so I got a "nice drink of water" before I left the OB.
The Zofran is making SUCH a major difference. Mostly, I can eat and drink!! I still feel some nausea, particularly when its close to my next dose (like right now, I'm an hour from my next dose and feeling a little sketchy).
I go back in about 3 weeks for a follow-up, and to actually do all of the blood work and such.
Thank you all for your kindness and guidance while I've been struggling. I was SO terribly worried the baby would be in bad shape because of how sick I was, but I'm so thankful that it is doing totally fine in there and measuring right on schedule.
