happyin14 - sorry you're not having a great morning. I hope the rest of your day gets better.
sweetsurprise - too cute! Is he meditating in that second one?
MrsTinMKE - ugh. Sorry your coworkers sound like a bunch of douche canoes. Men seriously don't get it. F them. I hope that your brothers SO and baby do okay. It's super nice of you to take them some food and flowers.
It always bothers me how marketed towards women they are. Even though they pretty much are probably 90% consumed by women - I just hate how anything 'healthy' is marketed only to women.
I'm off today for the funeral so have to leave soon for the 2+ drive..I probably won't get to see Emma tonight which bums me out. I also feeling self conscious about my outfit, but it's hot and humid so none of my other back dresses will work. So wearing a long black maxi cotton dress. I hope everyone has a good Thursday!
Careful; when I say stuff like this they tell me to take it over to UO! (But I am 100% with you. I love fall!)
Lol it won't last long. Should be back in the 80's by the weekend but in the meantime I'm going to enjoy having my bedroom window open and sleep bundle up in my comforter!
kellrr - French themed shower sounds fun! I'm sure you can do it for cheap. I'm no planner, so I don't have any helpful suggestions. But it sounds fun!

I actually really like them and they have a good amount of protein. It is also a super easy quick breakfast. We always buy a big box at Sam's Club. They are only 230 cal, and usually fill me up for breakfast

I may have to try some. I'm trying to gather quick easy things to have for breakfast once I start work.

I love Noosa yogurt and a little granola, but I probably won't eat it as often once I stop BF because it's pretty high in fat. Right now I have it 3-4 times a week. I also love overnight oats with almond milk, and Belvita/Nature Valley breakfast biscuits.

kellrr bouquets of baby's breath are cheap and beautiful. You can tie ribbons around the cases for color. Also. Noosa is the best. Here are a few examples. Also lace and pearls you already own.
This week has been crazy at work. We have a bunch of internal meetings, which have actually been productive for once, but then everything else is piling up. I've been in a really awkward spot because I'm taking on a new role, but it hasn't been announced yet. Some people know, but I'm not supposed to talk about it. It's been the elephant in the room during our internal meetings. I was presenting on all my plans for my product, but I'm not going to end up doing any of them in my new role.
sweetsurprise how has the transition to the toddler class been with scheduled naps and such? With our daycare they transition at 15 months or whenever they can walk reasonably well, whichever comes first. I can't picture DS lying down for a nap on queue yet. Right now he is fighting all naps because he doesn't want to miss anything.

So I was just told by the MIL that I need to "cut the cord". She wants to come get DD from my work today. A. You don't own a car seat. B. Your son is adamant that no one drives DD besides us. So she tells me I need to cut the cord- you're really not doing yourself any favors here MIL.

Eww that is a really tough spot. When is your company announcing your move?
Not caught up yet but I once promised I'd share some of the more amazing representation emails I get. Here's a fun one from today:
My name is __________ and I am looking for an agency to represent me. I had contacted the _______ attorneys who represent Mr. Matt Damon, in reference to my stageplay "For England...For Love". They informed me that Mr. Damon may be willing to consider material submitted to him care of his agents at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment through an established licensed literary agency. I am a member of the Dramatist Guild and also have a documentary film that was an official selection of the NewFilmmakers that was screened at the Anthology Film Archives Deren Theatre in New York City. It is my understanding that Mr. Matt Damon is currently searching for a project that might have Broadway possibilities. "For England...For Love" would be a perfect vehicle for him. I would like to know if you would be interested in representing me,
I am getting dressed quick (no shower again-so wrong) because I have to go sit at my office for a FedEx package that is supposed to come before 10:30. It's settlement checks for the case I settled in June. Even though I'm annoyed as hell, I get $$$$$ finally!! Also, my mom is off and hanging out with us and bringing coffee to my office. AND she is going to help me plan the bridal shower I'm throwing for my friend at a French restaurant. Any inspiration? I found lots in Pinterest, but I need to keep it cheap on decor since I have to pay for 10 people to eat French food. It's a long story, and, as usual, I wish I'd out my foot down and said "they come to my house, or no shower for you." But, I didn't and now I actually am kind of excited to do a fun French theme.
That sounds like fun but potential to get expensive quickly.

Your MIL is horrible! What does she want to do with DD that she must come get her from your work?

They haven't started the scheduled naps yet. They are allowing the babes to adjust to the new room first. The babies in the room from 8 months - 10 months.

I'm sure Mr. Matt Damon is jumping at the chance to work with this currently unrepresented person and because he is, clearly you should represent this person.
Several people have told me I look like a combination of Kate Winslet and Wes Anderson. I believe this is indicative of my inherent ability to act (and potentially even receive an Oscar in the next 2-4 years) and write/direct some amazing plays/films. I have written several screenplays and scripts regarding my obsession with adorable animal photos on the internet that I suggest you review promptly. I have enclosed a copy of the most recent script - "Sew Very Cute." It's about a cat and a llama that befriend one another and start a sewing shop. You're welcome.
I'm a very busy person, as you might have guessed, so please reach back to me with any financial matters I should consider via my mother, Bertha. She is deaf in her left ear, so I appreciate your patience in advance.

Your MIL is ridiculous. Mine is pretty fun, too. I have an all day conference 2 minutes away from her house next week, and I need to find someone to watch DS, and no way in hell am I asking her even though it would be super convenient. My luck she would either flake at the last minute or bring him to me an hour in and say he wore her out.
sweetsurprise those are all cute! I love the teacups! My mom just got her China back after a 15 year loan to my grandma, so I think that would be an awesome idea!
