I rake advantage of Stride Rite sales and usually get buy one get one 50% off so I probably average about $30 a pair. Her feet don't seem to grow super quickly so we've gotten to wear shoes until they wear out!
FFFC J has 7 or 8 pairs of size 7 sneakers at the moment plus a pair of sperrys. We also have some size 8 and some size 9 in his closet for when he outgrows the 7s.
Yep. Sneaker* addicts.
ETA he also has a pair of jordan sandals and 3 pairs of water shoes.
You sound like me Hahahaha I love the girls sperrys. Boat shoes for the win. I'm also slightly addicted to buying them for the fall.

We got "lucky" in that M can only wear hard soled shoes, so the only place I've found shoes that work are target and Walmart. The hard soled shoes tend to be really cheap and we spend an average of $10 per pair for sandals and $15 on sneakers. M wears sandals to the therapy center, because they take there shoes off before starting and it's easier for her to take them off herself. She has three pair to alternate. For going out she has one pair of white light up sneakers and a pair of black converse depending on her outfit. She also has a pair of sneakers she wears around the house which her PT advised to help her from tripping over her left foot constantly.
I'm a cheapo for the most part but spent about $30 on the sneakers we just got E (Reeboks). The only reason we spent more was because she was fitted for inserts by the PT and we had to find shoes with removable soles so we could put the inserts in. Otherwise, her last sneakers were on clearance at Payless for $6 (had the PT check them for support and she was actually really impressed). I've gotten Stride Rite at Burlington Coat Factory for decent. I think the sandals and crocs she has right now were about $15 each. I'm fortunate though in that she has DH's narrow feet so finding shoes isn't too hard.
I don't spend more than $30. I usually get both the girls shoes at children's place or Carter's but only when I have a coupon AND there is a sale. We have a very limited budget.
