I wore yoga pants instead of jeans (what, I was like 16 weeks pregnant and not ready for maternity jeans) and people thought I dressed up, because black = dress slacks
Or when you wear your one nice pair of slacks and a blouse and everyone says "oh wow you look so put together today"
I usually shower at night and don't blow dry my hair. Whenever I take a morning shower and dry my hair I get tons of compliments on my hair, even though I haven't done anything special to it. I like to set the bar low, then it is easy to surpass it!

This is half the reason I don't wear makeup. A little mascara and some gloss and its like the red carpet.

Being a SAHM means you could be in perma jammies most days and no one would care. Thing is I care. I like clothes, fashion, shoes all that but hell I was not wearing pants till almost 1 this afternoon. I have to get dressed to feel human tho lol. DD will sometimes ask where we are going and I am usually replying no where. Not having to be anywhere is harder than I thought going in. Finding a reason to dress decently do makeup and all that. I will at times to make myself feel better but still. So I feel like I am in a rut and have lost myself or is that just motherhood? Not sure anymore.
