MIL was ok last night. She was 30 minutes late so she wanted us to keep F up past her bedtime. Um, no. So she said that bedtimes should be extremely flexible and our next child wouldn't be so spoiled.

Pretty sure baby #2 will have a set bedtime too.
How does having a set bedtime = spoiling your child? I would think the the flexible bedtime would spoil them more.
I'm so lazy so I buy 10 bottles organic baby food, rice cereal, puffs and some pouches and bring it all in on Monday for DS to have for the week. Some of the other super moms bring cut up leftovers or cook special meals. Not me. But I'm a good cuddler!
I'm trying to find some middle ground here. They already have puffs and cereal there and I will definitely send pouches but I feel like she needs something else. I don't want to send anything messy or anything that needs heated so I'm just not sure. I looked for ideas on Pinterest but that was more intimidating than helpful!
You can do yogurts, cold pasta, egg salad, chicken salad, I've seen moms being in scrambled eggs, some do cottage cheese with different fruits in it, any cold leftovers that are cut up...
POAS yesterday because I had been feeling nauseous the past few mornings. Thank God it was negative. I wasn't fully convinced I could be pregnant because breastfeeding and still no sign of AF.
Hey for those of you who already have kids in daycare, what types of food are you sending with them for lunch?
For both kids we mostly send dinner left overs. Specifically for our little guy we tend to send steamed mixed veggies or pasta with a cut up grilled sandwich or chicken pieces or chicken nuggets broken up. We are all chaotic from the move so both kids got left over pizza today

You crack me up! I would do the same except we are basically skipping baby food with this guy. Left overs all the way

This woman doesn't believe in schedules. She put DH to bed whenever she felt like it. Doesn't think I should have set feeding times- just wait until she starts crying for food. I shouldn't schedule naps- just let her go until she passes out on the floor from pure exhaustion. How could she possibly think I would let her babysit F?
Our kids were both rock stars in the new house. Baby slept 7:30-6:30 then took a bottle and crashed on my husband till 7:30. Our toddler slept till 7:30 and only woke because I went to get him. Both kids leaked out their diapers but I'll take it for a good night sleep!!
Our little guy is wearing himself out - our new house is about double the size of our old one and he's crawling in circles and all over the place. We desperately need to get up gates ASAP as he is obsessed with stairs!!
My kid was a hot mess last night before bed. She wouldn't stop crying. I thought maybe teeth so I gave her ibuprofen which didn't seem to help at all. Finally I gave her Tylenol too and she fell asleep snuggling her lullaby giraffe in my arms. She never falls asleep snuggling anything. Then she STTN. Which she's only ever done a handful of times. Almost 13 hours straight. It was glorious.
Lazy day here. I have to go get a gift for friends bridal shower that's tomorrow. They seriously registered for four items. FOUR. So looks like It will be wine and a gift card.
Wine is always a good choice!
Picked out a nice bottle and some lady came up to grab the same one. She said it was amazing, so naturally I had to buy one for me. Also picked up some not you fathers root beer and curious traveler pumpkin shandy.

Greek yogurt, fruit, applesauce, hummus and pita bread, jelly sandwiches, tomatoes and avocado. I'm getting bored with my selection..our day care provides meals so pretty soon will ask them to start giving more off the menu.

Once you taste the wine you will have to share in the wine recommendations thread. I haven't had any pumpkin beer yet because I'm in denial that fall is coming.

I'm over my denial and am fully embracing it. We had a cool day last week and I wore a new sweatshirt I got. That did me in, I love sweatshirt season!

Sweatshirt season doesn't start until February here.
We've spent 2 hours total at daycare just playing this week and dd already has become a booger factory. She just sneezed out the most massive boogers. I've been spoiled up until now! Haha!
