California girl here, can I just say that I love the names of all of those towns. We don't have names like that out this way.
A lot of them are native American, if they're not stolen from towns in England. They're also all very hard to pronounce lol.
So I got my Fitbit yesterday. Man the sleep tracker is depressing! LO had a pretty good night, he woke up a few times but went back to sleep on his own, but that still wakes me up, and I couldn't get back to sleep. Plus the wind woke me up, and I just felt restless a lot. 3 actual full wakeups, 20 stretches marked as "restless", and that's a good night. When I finish pumping I'm definitely going to start taking melatonin again, I really hate being such a light sleeper.
My DH has one- does it truly track the sleep? His shows he is a shitty sleeper also which fooled me because he NEVER seems to hear the baby lol

@mummypig - and if you're into this at al:
Although I have a hard time getting tingly about him in FNL, but it's a hotly contested issue here sometimes. This is Big Tim Riggins. When he portrays an adult I think he's a hottie. Teenage Katy would have thought he was hot in this show. Adult Katy thinks of him differently.
Coach Taylor however... he just makes me tingly in places. Mostly ears and groin.
Want to keep your baby from freaking out when you leave the room? Give her a piece of American cheese before you go. She won't even notice you're gone.
I am 100% going to test this hypothesis and report back independent findings later. Maybe tomorrow. We're going out to dinner tonight and it'll likely be bedtime when we get home.
Is it wrong to put your baby to bed with a slice of cheese?
(that's as close at it comes to a pic of someone cuddling with a slice of cheese )

I don't know for sure how accurate it is... I have the new one that also monitors heart rate so I imagine it's pretty accurate, and it matches how I felt last night for sure.
I could literally fit a second set of my boobs in the nursing bras I bought last spring. I have no idea how these microscopic breasts produce anything. I need to go bra shopping again. I effing hate bra shopping.
When I stopped nursing DD and my milk finally dried up I was shocked at what I was left with. I was a C PP, went up three cup sizes while pregnant, and was barely a B when I finished nursing. I don't even want to think about what's going to happen when I'm done nursing/pumping for these guys, but I imagine it's going to be a really sad day at the mall. I feel your pain.

I think my fried egg status boobs are barely a b- probably an A+ ? makes the fact I was forced to wean due to illness even worse. NOT that boobs are everything, just lucky DH is an ass man!

Aw, I'm sorry love. I had to stop nursing DD to start back to treatment (fertility drugs are no bueno for nursing babies), so I feel you on stopping before you're ready.
I think the initial shock was the worst part of it back then. I didn't really notice when I got used to my new normal, and they did rebound a little with time. It's just going from nursing boobs to, well, not. It's a big change!
I bought a tummy slimming tank to suck in my mom pudge. I have it pushed up right now while I pump, it us so freaking tight. Like it might hurt to take a deep breath.

I'm a little jealous of you all that are talking about post-nursing changes! After I stopped nursing (4m) and pumping (6m), they haven't changed. I would LOVE for them to be a little smaller! (You know, a size where I can buy decent bras for less than $60 each..)

I was thinking the same. They're definitely bigger now and my expensive sports bra I love now pushes into my underarms a bit because it's tight. I'm praying they at least go back to normal when I drop this last pump... but I'd take smaller too, even if they're saggy!
Ok I have a nursing bewbs question. Why do they sit so damn differently in my shirts now? They're actually smaller than pre pregnancy, and obviously hang out a bit lower but shouldn't a good push up bra fix that? Maybe it's because my rib cage never went back to normal? Idk. I feel like I have old lady chest now.
Is it possible you went from full on top to full on bottom or vice versa? There are pics if you google. I was FOB before, now I'm FOT, which sucks because it makes me shirts fit differently and different style bras work now, so some of my balconettes from before that still fit for example now have like boob muffin tops. Even if they don't go back to my previous size I reeeeally hope that part changes- I feel like they're fuller on top because of the milk so hopefully they will?

I see your pic- no old lady chest in site! Lol it could be the rib thing- I was pretty uniformly "full" All around pre kids (you know like 1000 years ago) but after my first the top fullness disappeared and I'm only on the bottom- and for my small boobie size I'll say again is a sad sad sight lol

Wait... No.no.no.no. Molars can't be next, can they? Don't the incisors come next?
Incisors are supposed to come next. DD apparently didn't want to follow the rules though. She has 8 teeth, one bottom molar, and the other bottom molar is trying to fight its way out.

That's exactly it! I guess a plus is I'll get to purchase a new suit this summer! I'll NEVER fill out the top of mine from this summer. Bummer to because it was super cute (and on sale)!... Maybe I'll put my crocheting skills to test and make my own top! (W a liner of course)!

I don't like to be a bearer of bad news, but I have noticed that I have more of the boob muffin top now vs pre baby. I haven't been able to figure out if I need to go up a cup size, or just try a different style bra. Plus, I don't have extra money right now to figure it out. I've been tucking and wearing shaper tanks to hold it all together.

bookshelvescarseat5ofthem2ofus I just got fitted this weekend. I was a D before having kids. I'm a C now, but my ribcage has expanded. I'm in a not-stocked-at-dillards size now.
hammysmommy The ear infection is kinda a yeasty smell. The odd thing is my childhood dogs ear smelled very similar when infected. My sense of smell is really strong though because my hearing is terrible. My husband couldn't smell it either but he couldn't smell DS had a poo poo diaper this morning so I can't rely on him for that stuff.
No joke - I lost hearing in my right ear and have to nose of a German Shepard! - one thing that may make some gag but if anyone has ever smelt gerber baby food peaches- it's smells JUST like an infected dogs ear! BARF!

BOOOOO. My ribs never went back after DD, either. Lame. That sucks about being a harder to find size, too. As if bra shopping isn't frustrating enough.

Add me to the sad bewbs club. Now that we only nurse twice per day they are too small for my nursing bras but still will not fit in my pp bras. Also, my ribcage def expanded after I had DS1. I had to get rid of a lot of fitted dresses because I couldn't zipper over my ribs.
I am in the market for some new sports bras. Does anyone have recommendations?

I tried a bigger cup size and it just felt too big. But I tried a different style- still a balconette but ones that have a looser part on top (NOT molded cup ones)- they used to gape on me but now they're much better. The Curvy Kate Gia is my new fave, and you can get it in very large sizes for not TOO expensive on brastop.com. But I only got one because who knows what'll fit once I wean. :/
Also this site is super helpful if you're trying to figure out your shape;http://brasihate.blogspot.com/2013/02/clarifying-breast-shape-full-on-top-vs.html

I've actually read that molars come next for most babies. Incisors come a little later.
I have so many bras I never wore or barely wore when I needed to upgrade during pregnancy. It makes me sad to think about what my lil pancakes will look like in there. Please, nice lady at Soma, please do not laugh.
