Thanks all for the wishes for Baxter to sleep/not puke. I think last night was just the damn soy allergy again. I didn't realize that the chicken chunks at dinner had soy, so by bedtime his nose was running clear and he was puking. Up and down several times.
LO seems better. I gave a dose of his allergy stuff and he did sleep some, but cried so much before daycare. He was hysterical and trying to follow after me when I left him. It ripped my heart out this morning and I feel like the biggest jerk being here at work instead of with my baby. He doesn't have a fever, and they haven't called me, do I'm assuming he is fine.
@elf828 I'm sorry. Your manager is a jerk. This is about her, not a reflection of you. And if everyone else in the company will think it's strange? It's not just you. I'm also fairly convinced your hiring manager is a snow wuss and is hunkering down and will be calling with good news when the blizzard ends. Keep your head up, mama!
@elf828 I'm sorry your manager seems like such a bitch, during my creepy lurker days I read about your boss, and I seriously think she is threatened by you. You seem to go above and beyond in anything you do and I really admire that. I'm sorry she stinks, I really hope you find a position where someone values your work ethic.
All of the FNL talk is making me rethink cancelling my Netflix account. I'm finally caught up on Downton Abbey and need something new to watch.
Ditto to this! Except the lurker part, I never lurked.

I've watched one ep of fnl so far...after reading everyone's responses I am very excited to keep going!
I took Lo to her first baby story time at the library. She was shy and confused at first, but warmed up and had fun! I don't know why I haven't gone sooner.
And fuck. I got my first pp AF this morning . I am not used to this. A nice bath is calling my name when DH gets home.

Re: bras
I did bra fits in a former life. You nursing mommas may find that your flattened pups never quite look right in a push-up again. Like the pushup will scoop you up, but you may just still look deflated on top, it may not be all full and wonderful like before. A lot of women wind up going towards a more fuller molded cup to keep the ta's looking great. A great fitting bra will dramatically change any wardrobe, and your attitude.

Also, add me to the cookiebutter bandwagon. Kroger sells some, and I bought it last night. So far I've eaten off off the spoon, and on toast at 5am this morning. I thought about cookiebutter until about 7:30 this morning when I finally had to start working.
And now I'm going to think about cookiebutter all afternoon. I think it needs to be somehow combined with brownies.

So I'm at work, and every single person is running around cleaning anything they can possibly clean. Because I guess a famous person is coming for a tour. WHOA!
The CEO literally just dustbusted my backpack. This is so awkward.
I tried Target, Walmart, BRU, Carter's, and 2 local clothing stores. I can't find anything I like for K to wear on his first birthday. I can't really do Etsy because more often than not the shipping charges are outrageous to Canada. Didn't like anything from the Old Navy website. I don't know where to search anymore.
Have you thought about looking for outfit ideas on Pinterest? I couldn't find an outfit as a whole for LO to wear on his birthday on one site and was getting frustrated. I'm not good at putting an outfit together. I found a really cute outfit on Pinterest and copied it.

This is me. They were fine after DS but a freaking nightmare now. I have no butt, my boobs were my thing. =*(
@disneypeanut what are you looking for? If you want something similar to what I made for E, I can help you out
The ones you posted in in the crafty thread? They do look adorable! It could work. I'm either looking for something slightly preppy or something with Nemo (or any fish really). I just don't like any of the preppy stuff I find, or it's too expensive.
I looked for Nemo fabric and it's so expensive since it's not new, but I could make something with blues and oranges (or whatever colour you're doing) if you want. Do you have an example of what you were looking for? I'd be happy to make you something, and I'd have time to make and ship it
@cara5565 - mine were C before pregnancy and they are now DDD. I weaned in September and they haven't gone down at all. I had to buy all new bras. In fairness, I'm a few pounds above my pre-pregnancy weight too so that might also be the issue. I also have the weird muffin top boob issue. Hopefully you won't have my experience!
hashtagrainbow - I'm making your spaghetti squash recipe tonight. I'm really excited to try it!

...what if they were never full and wonderful in the first place?
When I bought my "expensive" soma nursing bras, DH made a comment that at least it was an investment since I could use them again next time. I've worn the same three bras since the spring. These babies are getting tossed. Lol DH. Lol.

It means we're boobie twins. Solidarity my saggy sistah!
caer yummmmm I hope you enjoy it as much as we do in my house! carissalynp posted a pic of hers last night on IG and now I'm craving it! #nom
It was so good! Even though I forgot the lime juice lol. I went a little easy on the spice because I didn't want it too spicy for LO, but he loved it too. I'd never cooked spaghetti squash before but I definitely will again. I also saved a spaghetti squash with thai peanut sauce recipe. Someone needs to give me some vegetable cutting lessons though, especially onions, I'm so slow and the pieces are not all the same size.
